Pale Bone Black Tower
Two days later, Zorro took Saine to see Martin, a level three Black Magician.
The reason for waiting a few days was that Zorro wasn't entirely sure where Martin was, so he needed to contact him first and confirm that Martin had time to meet with him.
It's possible that Zorro holds a significant place in Martin's heart, or perhaps it's the newly emerged Level 1 Black Magician, Saine, who has piqued Martin's interest.
After receiving Zorro's message through the Crystal Ball, Martin quickly agreed to Zorro's request for a meeting and told Zorro to go to Dalana Island, north of Moduolong Island Dalan Island, to find him.
Dalan Island is also one of the four islands controlled by Martin in the Black Domain, and it has richer material resources and a much higher density of the lower-class population than Moduolong Island.
In the central part of Dalan Island, inside an old-fashioned castle with a strong sense of history, Saine met the famous level three Black Magician.
Saine had actually met Martin once before, when he went to the Yellow Sand World years ago.
The Martin who appeared before Saine had lost the mystery and power he once possessed, but instead exuded a sense of practicality and affability.
Martin gave Saine a very natural feeling; he was a level three Black Magician who wasn't pretentious at all.
Dressed in a white mage's robe, his bald head shone brightly under the elemental lights inside the castle.
While Saine silently observed Martin, Martin was also scrutinizing this newly emerging Black Magician.
Yes, Saine's current identity is that of a Black Magician who has just returned to the Black Domain of the Western Islands. →
So far, only his senior brothers and sisters know that Sain joined the Azure Source Holy Tower and completely cleared his name.
Revealing one's identity as Holy Tower Magician in the Black Domain is not a wise move.
Those dark mages may not necessarily have a grudge against the Azure Source Tower, but their mere identity as mages of the Saen Tower almost completely severed the ties between them.
Aside from his closest friends and family, Saine was best advised to keep his origins a secret.
His status as a disciple of Moxidu allowed Saine to quickly integrate into the Black Magician organization led by Martin, a level three Black Magician on the outskirts of the Black Domain.
Because Saine's identity is verifiable, not to mention that Zorro himself confirmed it, and that not all of those people from the City of Mozhsuobula Black Magic Academy were dead.
Only thirty years have passed, and some Black Magician still remember Saine.
"I remember you, Moxidu ' little disciple."
"Back then, outside the spatial rift in the Yellow Sand World, Moxidu gave a Coordinate Generator, right?" The bald Mage Martin suddenly laughed after staring at Saine for a while.
Saine was surprised that this level three Black Magician actually remembered him, a "small fry".
A flicker of surprise crossed his face, and Saine respectfully performed a mage's salute, saying, "Yes, Headmaster."
Saine's answer made Martin's expression much more amiable.
He waved his hand lightly and said, "You don't need to call me Dean anymore. In fact, our City of Mozhsuobula Black Magic Academy has long been destroyed."
"However, it must be said that the Black Wizard Academy back then did accumulate a lot of talent for us and brought together many like-minded Black Magician."
"If only the Black Wizard Academy hadn't been destroyed, everything would be as it was before," Martin suddenly sighed.
Martin's lament resonated with both Saine and Zorro.
Zorro was thinking about the time he spent discussing Alchemy Experiment with his mentor, Moxidu, while Saine was thinking about Lina.
In fact, the title "Dean" is a unique designation given to Martin by the group of Black Magician who fled back to the Black Domain Realm from the Underdark.
Few people use this title now, but anyone who can use it can be considered a direct descendant of Martin.
Martin himself wasn't too fond of the title, but he knew that his now-deceased mentor had preferred the title "Dean."
The reason for establishing the Black Wizard Academy in City of Mozhsuobula was not only because the exploration of the Yellow Sand World required the power of those apprentices, but also because it was to fulfill a certain wish of that elderly Demigod-level Black Magician.
It turns out that Martin's mentor may indeed have been very experienced as the headmaster of a magic academy.
Although the City of Mozhsuobula Black Magic Academy was not established for long, it did produce some geniuses.
Including Saine and Zorro, a large number of Black Wizard Apprentice have successively advanced one level in the past thirty years.
In terms of the success rate of magic apprentices breaking through to become Formal Magician, it is no less than that of ordinary Holy Tower Academy.
This is already an outrageous figure!
Not to mention, there was one exception among these magic apprentices.
"Actually, even if Zorro hadn't brought you along, I would have loved to meet you," Martin suddenly said with a smile. Saine had expected him to mention his recent killing of the level-one Black Magician, Babaluka.
But to his surprise, Martin didn't care about the life or death of the first-level Black Magician Babaluka, at all. Instead, he changed the subject and said, "I heard you and Lina are very close. Is she your girlfriend?"
Martin's words caught Saine off guard.
God Queen, Saine nodded and replied, "Yes."
Martin clapped his hands and laughed, "Excellent! You two have both advanced to Formal Magician. You're truly role models for our City of Mozhsuobula Black Magic Academy!"
Martin's statement left Saine somewhat confused about his meaning.
Seemingly noticing the confusion in Saine and Zorro's eyes, Martin patiently explained, "You two probably don't know yet, but Lina has joined the Pale Bone Black Tower Black Domain and won first place in the Pale Bone Black Tower Death Trial more than 20 years ago."
"I received some news that several Black Magician deans from the Pale Bone Black Tower Academy have been full of praise for Lina's performance in the Trial of Death."
"Who knows, she might have already come into the sights of the Pale Bone Black Tower Tower Master," Martin remarked.
Winning first place in the Trial of Death held by the Black Tower in the Black Domain is no less prestigious than Saine winning first place on the leaderboard in the Regional Academy War.
If the Regional Holy Tower Academy War jointly organized by several Holy Tower is considered to be an apprentice trial within a controllable scope.
At least each participating apprentice will receive a life-saving item to help them escape the Trial Space in time.
The Trial of Death within the Black Domain are truly a fight for one's life.
The weak do not deserve to live.
The mere mention of "Trial of Death" is enough to evoke a sense of danger and bloodshed.
Lina's ability to stand out from tens of thousands of Black Wizard Apprentice in the Pale Bone Black Tower and to gain the attention of the Dean of the Black Wizard Academy and even the Tower Master is remarkable in itself.
So much so that even a level three Black Magician like Martin had to look at Lina with new respect.
Martin valued not Lina's strength, but her potential and the connections represented by the Black Magician who favored her.
The Pale Bone Black Tower is no ordinary Black Tower, at least not in the central and outer regions of the Southern Black Domain.
Martin's deceased mentor, Maijana, resided in a Black Tower that was slightly less powerful than the Pale Bone Black Tower.
