Another journey alone.
After parting with Madam Befu for the time being, Saine set out alone for the Different Time-Spaces connected to the Material Star Realm.
There were quite a few of them.
Beyond the ones Saine had visited himself, the Material Star Realm was connected to special spaces that neither he nor the Wizard Civilization's predecessors had ever visited—or even discovered.
But Saine had now advanced to Level-9, and his personal realm surpassed that of ordinary Level-9 beings. By tracing the rules and the veins of the Astral Realm Origin, he could find even those narrow, hidden spaces.
Yet however small a Different Time-Space might be, the Star Realm was so vast that countless beings had surely fallen into it by accident and begun a desperate search for a way out.
Saine chose to visit the Despair World first. It was the first such place he had ever entered, and the one that had left the deepest impression on him.
As it happened, before setting out, Saine had wondered whether he might witness a Dimensional Hegemony between other Top-Level Civilizations. The moment he arrived in the Despair World, he found one underway.
What luck...
The Despair World's sky was an endless gray. Far out at the edge of sight, more than a dozen immense energy storms swept across the horizon.
Those storms could tear a Level-6 Creature apart with ease and even affect Dominator-class Beings.
But such harsh conditions were normal in the Despair World.
Of all the strange spaces Saine had visited, the Despair World probably had the harshest environment.
And it was precisely that environment that had produced so many exceptional talents and Peak Despairers.
Saine had once been a Peak Despairer himself.
