Guer
A swamp capable of trapping Level 1 Knight is certainly no ordinary place.
Saine noticed that as the wet mud in the swamp dragged the Level 1 Knight along, a faint Earth Elemental aura appeared.
This soil is also a valuable material for Earth Element magic.
Judging from the way they're doing it, it's not something an ordinary person can collect.
Faced with the plea for help from a stranger, Level 1 Knight, Saine pondered for a long time by the swamp before taking out some magical materials from his Space Equipment.
The reason Saine was thinking about this wasn't whether or not to save the other person, but how to save them.
Having finally encountered a living person, Saine was bound to want to get some information out of them.
Saine's understanding of the Knight Continent was limited to the general information he had gathered in the Western Islands, the kind that was common knowledge.
The Level 1 Knight before them was clearly qualified to enter the Knight Continent, and he should know more than Saine.
Compared to Knight, Mage are better at using their wisdom.
The swamp, capable of trapping level one creatures, might leave Knight helpless, but for Mage like Saine, there's more than one solution.
The sound of obscure incantations filled the jungle, and some gray, special magical spices were scattered by Saine.
The once damp and soft swamp has been transformed into a straight and hard path through the rearrangement of magical elements.
However, this path will not last long, as small eddies and slight tremors appear in the surrounding swamp.
After casting a Light Body Technique and Flight Spell on himself, Saine rushed toward the area where the Level 1 Knight was trapped.
Rescuing the Level 1 Knight Guer did not take Saine too long.
Those magical spices weren't worth much, but Saine still received Guer's profuse thanks.
Level 1 Knight named Guer, from the East Coast.
The East Coast is located to the east of the Western Islands, and it is the area that intersects with the Western Islands the most.
The power of Battle Qi and magic has developed in a very balanced way on the East Coast.
There are even rare and special professions there, such as Magic Swordsman and Battle Magician.
The Magic Swordsman is Knight who specializes in martial Battle Qi. After achieving a certain level of mastery, he begins to study magic and gains the power to master both.
Battle Magician are Mage specialize in Element Power. In addition to the normal path of elemental magic, they also begin to explore their own path of melee combat.
Battle mages are more adept at combat than normal Mage, but this also leads to a dispersion of their energy, making it impossible for them to fully dedicate themselves to laboratory research. These are the advantages and disadvantages of Battle Magician.
All of this information was given to Saine by Guer.
Guer had a good eye; he initially thought that Saine was also a Battle Magician.
When Saine asked why, Guer replied, "Your control over your muscles is unlike that of a normal Mage."
"I've met a few Battle Magician, and they remind me a lot of you," Guer said to Saine as he tended the fire by the campfire at dusk.
At this moment, Saine was fiddling with the pale yellow soil he had just collected, as well as several worms ranging in length from a few centimeters to more than ten centimeters.
This soil was collected by Saine from the swamp; it was not only incredibly sticky, but also seemed to contain considerable magical properties.
These Little Zerg were byproducts of Saine's collection of clay from the swamp.
After hearing Guer's answer, Saine nodded, then picked up the still-wriggling Little Zerg in his hand and said, "The real culprit that trapped you in the swamp is these little creatures."
"Hmm... they have a faint Element Power nature; they must be some kind of Demonized Creature."
Saine's words made Guer's face fall.
As a powerful Level 1 Knight, he almost fell victim to a group of Demonized Creature.
Of course, the characteristics of these Demonized Creature were extremely bizarre and magical, but they also made Guer lose face.
"You saved me, so I can grant you one request, as long as it's within my means," Guer said generously to Saine.
This guy has a big mouth and seems to have quite a background.
In fact, there are beings who can enter the Knight Continent to participate in the trials.
They are either the Heaven's Chosen of a certain region or Holy Tower, or they have a deep background and powerful connections.
Judging from the fact that Guer has only been in the Knight Continent for a month and is already trapped in an unknown swamp, it is clearly not the former.
Saine's Aura Concealment Technique made him appear extremely ordinary.
Guer noticed that Saine possessed some of the qualities of Battle Magician, but he was unsure of Saine's actual strength.
In fact, Battle Magician are never weak.
Although Battle Magician of level two or above are extremely rare, they are still among the top-ranked at level one.
Saine wasn't interested in Guer's gift; he had no shortage of resources and Magic Coin.
"Tell me everything you know about the Knight Continent. I'm more interested in information," Saine said to Guer.
Guer stared blankly at Saine for a moment, his mouth slightly agape. He asked, "Didn't your mentor and family elders tell you about the situation inside the Knight Continent before you entered it?"
Saine thought of Luluman, who was far away in the Azure Source Holy Tower, and then calmly shook his head.
"Your mentor must be an irresponsible guy," Guer muttered to himself.
Contact with the Level 1 Knight Guer was merely a minor incident after Saine entered the Knight Continent.
It was from this Level 1 Knight that Saine learned a great deal of secret information about the Knight Continent that was not usually available to outsiders.
The total number of creatures participating in the Knight Continent Trial is estimated to be around 100,000.
So many people were scattered across various Trial Zone on the Knight Continent.
The female Mage that Saine had previously been paying attention to might not necessarily be assigned to the same Trial Zone as Saine.
Furthermore, the Trial Zone are not necessarily connected.
It is highly likely that the rule-makers behind the Knight Continent simply selected a few areas and handed them over to these trial participants to explore.
Not all of the participants in the trials were human Knight or Mage.
Many years ago, some sea creatures also joined them.
This information from Guer reminded Saine of the sea creatures he had encountered in Ellen Harbor.
Ellen Harbor is merely one of the ports located relatively close to the Knight Continent.
There are several port cities of similar size in Greenland Island, not to mention those smaller than it.
Adding in the trial participants who entered from the other three directions of the Knight Continent, it's no wonder that the total number of trial participants reached a staggering 100,000.
But for the Wizard Civilization Wizard Civilization, this is just a new batch of Potential Seed that have been actively emerging in the last thousand years.
Proportionally speaking, those who can participate in the Knight Continent Trial are one in ten thousand in the Wizard Civilization.
