Pale Bone Black Tower
Saine and Lina rested in a tent by the pool for two days.
These past two days, unusually, Saine hasn't been studying magic or exploring any elemental knowledge.
Instead, they enjoy every moment of life like ordinary people.
He even made a fishing rod to catch some palm-sized, pale blue fish from the pond for him and Lina's dinner.
Despite not having conducted any research or magical meditation, Sain's Mental Strength steadily increased slightly as Saine left the picturesque Little Water.
This slight increase in Mental Strength might be due to the lingering effects of the previous red potion.
Or perhaps it's some other factor.
Saine had long discovered that meditation was not the only way to enhance Mental Strength.
After leaving their temporary lodging where they had rested for two days, Saine and Lina continued their journey north.
The Trial Zone where they were located on the Knight Continent was incredibly vast. At least so far, Saine had no idea how big the Trial Zone was or how far they were from the center of the Trial Zone.
The novel plant and animal specimens they encountered each day, along with research findings, kept Saine and Lina incredibly fulfilled.
Knight Continent is a treasure trove; every Knight and Mage who enters it can reap unimaginable benefits.
Not only Saine, but also Lina saw her knowledge, Magic Power, and Mental Strength steadily improve in the days that followed. →
Saine also exchanged their collections and Magic Books with Lina.
Saine was very interested in the knowledge that Lina presented regarding the Corpse Refinement Synthetic Beast and the dark elemental realm.
Lina, on the other hand, was extremely interested in the knowledge of Fire Element, soul science, and potion-related fields that Saine possessed.
Spellcaster in the Wizard World place great importance on the Inheritance of Knowledge.
Therefore, during the exchange of knowledge with Lina, Saine did not rashly use the alchemy that Moxidu had passed on to him, nor the Azure Fire Magic that he had obtained from his mentor, Luluman.
This knowledge belongs not only to Saine, but also to Moxidu or the Azure Blaze Grandmaster.
Saine naturally held nothing back when it came to his knowledge.
However, unless Saine intends to take on apprentices, he will not easily reveal this inherited knowledge from his predecessors.
From Spellcaster's perspective, Saine was rather traditional. Of course, there was an even more important reason why he didn't share this knowledge with Lina: neither alchemy nor Azure Fire Magic could be mastered in a short time.
Alchemy requires countless hours of practice and hands-on experience.
Azure Fire Magic has been Saine's main area of research for the past twenty years.
After becoming Level-1 Magician, Lina already had a relatively clear direction for her development, so how could she possibly veer off in another direction halfway through?
Furthermore, Lina's path in magical elements is not necessarily inferior to that of Saine.
Saine also learned from Lina that the dark and fire elemental secrets she currently possessed, apart from a very small number that came from the Second-Level Magician Feilunna, actually mostly came from the tower master of the Pale Bone Black Tower.
This knowledge of both dark and fire elements was Lina's reward for being the first to pass the Trial of Death.
In addition, before setting off for the Knight Continent, the tower master of the Pale Bone Black Tower bestowed upon Lina an Pale Bone Ring for protection.
"Does the master of the Pale Bone Black Tower intend to take you as his disciple?" Saine asked in a deep voice.
The master of the Pale Bone Black Tower has a true Life Level of five.
This is a Black Magician even stronger than Saine's mentor Luluman.
Even in the southern region of the Black Domain's heartland, it is a household name.
Given that a level-five being like this was willing to take Lina as his disciple, Saine wasn't really confident he could force Lina to leave the Black Domain.
Even if she returns to the Azure Source Holy Tower in the future, Luluman may not be willing to accept her.
With the support of her master, the Azure Blaze Grandmaster, Luluman shouldn't be too afraid of that level-five Black Magician.
The only problem is that Lina is wanted by all the Holy Tower and Knights' Hall in the Wizard World.
When Saine asked about the reason, Lina replied that she had carried out several mandatory combat missions issued by the Pale Bone Black Tower when she had just broken through and advanced to the next level.
She killed two Level 1 Knight and one Level-1 Magician from the East Coast.
Information about Lina has already been collected and backed up by the Holy Tower and Knights' Hall organizations throughout the East Coast.
The mandatory tasks of the Pale Bone Black Tower can be seen as a way for them to hone the skills of newly advanced Level-1 Magician.
This can also be seen as them forcing these newly promoted Black Magician from magic apprentices to sign a "pledge of allegiance".
With wanted posters issued by the various Holy Tower and Knights' Hall, these Black Magician have virtually no chance of clearing their names. This is vastly different from what happened to Saine back then, Saine was merely a magic apprentice and even received care from Midiqi, a peak level two Mage from the Dawn Holy Tower.
Lina wasn't sure whether the master of the Pale Bone Black Tower would accept her as a disciple.
Many Black Magician in the academy, including a certain academy dean, have already decided that the tower master has taken a liking to Lina and intends to make her his successor.
But so far, Lina has not received a definite answer from the tower master.
She didn't even know whether the master of the Pale Bone Black Tower was male or female.
During her limited interactions with the Tower Master, Lina was immediately struck by the Pale Bone Black Tower Tower Master as an True Details Black Mist whose true nature was impossible to discern.
Even the voice of the tower master is a hoarse, androgynous voice.
In the southern region of the Black Domain's heartland, the Pale Bone Black Tower is indeed a powerful and somewhat mysterious Black Tower.
Due to the nature of the Black Domain, the Black Tower do not frequently launch Plane War like normal Holy Tower organizations.
The last time the Tower Master of the Pale Bone Black Tower made a move was probably four or five thousand years ago.
At that time, the master of the Pale Bone Black Tower was a powerful level 5 Black Magician.
Presumably out of fear of the tower masters' authority, many Black Magician within the Black Domain dare not speak ill of the tower masters of the various Black Tower.
A strict hierarchy is fully reflected in the Black Domain.
It still maintains the atmosphere of the normal Wizard Continent, which is relatively free and equal.
At least the Holy Tower Master like Luluman gave Saine a very easygoing feeling.
After learning more about the Black Domain and the Pale Bone Black Tower from Lina, Saine's mood became a little heavy.
But in front of Lina, Saine didn't want to show this heaviness, so he kept these things to himself for the time being.
At least for now, Saine and Lina don't need to worry about those troublesome things; they can simply live each day happily and fulfillingly.
"Where did you get this book?" Lina suddenly rummaged through Saine's Space Equipment, pulled out a book, and asked.
This is a black-covered Magic Book, which mainly introduces the compatibility between Death Element and Summoning Element magic.
"I found this at the Mamet United Alliance," Saine replied.
"This book is good, let me borrow it for a while," Lina said without waiting for a reply, and started flipping through the pages.
"I'll just give it to you," Saine said with a smile.
