New garrisons
Gear Time-Space.
As a piece of armor on the back of the God of Machines was slowly placed onto the maintenance platform, the dark golden flames clinging to its inner side had not yet completely died out.
Saine gestured, guiding the remaining wisp of essence into the sealing device beside him. Several mechanical arms that had been waiting nearby then entered beneath the armor and began dismantling the damaged components.
This time, the God of Machines will need to be repaired again.
Fortunately, compared to before, Gear Time-Space now has a much larger Engineering Forces to handle this kind of work. It doesn't have to wait for Saine to handle everything personally.
Wall-E presented him with a new maintenance schedule, in which several materials were different from the last one.
A batch of High-Grade Materials provided by the Green Vine Civilization were used to repair the energy transmission structure. Special crystals from the Water Mirror Civilization were embedded in areas that were more resilient to the impact of the rules.
After reviewing two of the components, Saine adjusted the connections between them and then handed over the remaining work.
Inside the Magic Cube, the massive Spoils of War brought back from the Destruction Time-Space has not yet been sorted. He doesn't lack anything worth studying for the time being.
On the other side of the Destruction Time-Space, Locke did not immediately advance deeper into the region.
The newly conquered starry sky was still trembling under wave after wave of dark golden impacts. The Engineering Legion continuously replenished the stabilizing devices, while the Zerg Swarm of Kerrygan gradually spread outwards from these devices.
Compared to the frontier, several Star Sector that have been conquered for many years are finally able to deploy some forces outward.
Locke instructed the Crystal Tide Wrath Beast and the Empty-Faced Burning Monarch to continue suppressing their respective sources of power. Meanwhile, the rule-based gazes of the Hundred-Eyed Chaos Beast began to cover the boundaries of those who had just connected to the black and red Destruction Will.
Their task at this time is not just to defend their original territory.
Some nodes that are not yet completely stable also need these native Destruction Creature to help Locke maintain them.
Around the Erosion Abyss Mother Nest, Kerrygan has selected several Zerg Swarm suitable for the expedition. After adjustments made in recent years, they are able to maintain their Power of Destruction after leaving this area, without having to constantly rely on nearby Origin Node.
The number of these insectoid beasts is ultimately only a small fraction compared to the vast army still entrenched in the Destruction Starfield.
However, the existing garrison in Primordial Universe Time-Space does not need to take away the entire Star Sector's strength at once.
"Send this batch over first," Locke said.
Kerrygan looked at the transportation location he had marked and nodded slightly.
Subsequently, a large number of black and red insectoid beasts left the Mother Nest and joined the expeditionary fleet that had been waiting for a long time. Accompanying them were also a group of Destruction Creature controlled by Locke's will and who had adapted to the external environment.
As for the four level -Level-12 Primordial Destruction Being, they remained here.
The Destruction Supreme, deep within, clearly hasn't stopped its counterattack. Although Locke now wields more power, he's not generous enough to give back what he's just gained.
Gear Time-Space, another vast mechanical starry sky.
As Saine entered the rear guard area, several enormous Gear within Thomas's body were operating at a more steady pace than before.
The newly added mechanical structures along the outer edge of the castle have almost become an integral part of the original structure. Several defensive facilities that previously required separate deployment are now directly integrated into it.
Thomas's Life Level has reached the Level-12 Late-Stage!
This change did not occur immediately after Saine left. The accumulation of years of war, along with the ongoing assimilation process after returning to the rear, finally allowed this castle-type Mechanical Lifeform to complete another stage of growth.
Saine landed above the castle, his palm pressed against the edge of a still-heating Gear.
The internal rule response brought a slight smile to his face.
"Next, the repair work on the God of Machines can also be entrusted to you."
Thomas did not immediately move his massive body over. Several Engineering Platform that were originally parked on the outside, however, had already moved towards the Maintenance Area through the passage he had opened.
Not all Level-12 Existence who followed Saine have improved their personal cultivation level over the years.
When Bing Xin arrived, the change in her aura of rules was not as obvious as Thomas's. However, an extremely fine layer of silvery-white light had appeared in the ice mirror beside her.
This is part of what she and Saine gradually digested after making adjustments together.
The Ice Mirror can withstand far greater impacts from the rules than before. Her Water Mirror Civilization's legions have also been equipped with a significant amount of new mechanical gear.
Several of these legions, which are responsible for frontline combat year-round, even have their own independent Engineering Fleet accompanying them.
On the Mountain Giant King's side, the easily damaged protective gear from previous battles was replaced. A batch of High-Grade Materials produced in the Earth Element Golden Wall World were directly used between his Rules Body and equipment.
These things may not immediately improve his cultivation level, but they can allow him to withstand more attacks in the next direct confrontation.
After reviewing the reports from several high-ranking experts, Saine realized that his available forces were now more substantial than when he had mobilized troops last time.
However, he did not order everyone to move out immediately.
The Gear Time-Space still needs someone to oversee it; the development of Affiliated Civilization cannot solely focus on sending legions outward.
The Transport Ship of the Water Mirror Civilization took a considerable amount of time from setting sail until leaving its base.
The fleet contains not only Combat Being. A large number of newly constructed Engineering Devices, as well as materials specifically for repairing frontline facilities, also occupy a significant portion of the transport volume.
The several Transcendence Realm experts who accompanied Bing Xin were now able to handle affairs in different directions. She no longer needed to personally oversee the whereabouts of each batch of resources as she had in the past.
Some members of the Green Vine Civilization also joined this fleet.
They are responsible for the frontline survival areas, the supply of special resources, and some supporting parts of the Transport Facilities. In the past, several races only undertook missions behind the Mechanical Civilization, but now they are able to bring their businesses to the Primordial Universe Time-Space along with the garrison.
This was, of course, also thanks to the arrangements made by the Wealth Goddess Wojin.
Saine only looked at the total amount invested this time, and then directly transmitted the task that Bing Xin was about to undertake.
"We'll proceed according to the agreed-upon scope. Any new additions will be discussed separately," he said.
On the other side of the light screen, Bing Xin accepted the several agreements from the Homeland Civilization.
Some defensive facilities have been completed, while others have only had the first batch of Mechanical Nodes installed. Her purpose in going there is to coordinate the garrison with these facilities.
After the first fleet arrived in the Primordial Universe Time-Space, the Jieyin teams from the nearby Homeland Civilization were already waiting outside the transport area.
They saw the Water Mirror Legion, and also the Destruction Zerg Beasts transported from another route.
The several Overlords who were originally preparing to approach the fleet to greet them subconsciously slowed down.
The black and red flames surging within the Zerg Swarm caused subtle changes in the very essence surrounding them.
But these Destruction Creature did not swarm outwards. Mission records from Skynet and high-ranking military personnel were sending them to designated areas.
Bing Xin first met with the representative of the Transcendence Realm sent by the Homeland Civilization.
After both sides reconciled the resource delivery and troop positions, she allowed the Engineering Fleet to continue its advance inland.
A facility that could only support small-scale transportation was later transformed into several enormous War Fortress.
The fortress did not enter the core star system of the Homeland Civilization, but instead stopped at the agreed-upon outer perimeter. Personnel from the Green Vine Civilization also began to take over some of the long-term supply affairs.
After the first round of handover was completed, a local Level-9 Strong Practitioner marked out several routes that originally required his own escort. He hoped that the newly arrived fleet could also help look after these areas.
Bing Xin glanced at it only once and then told him to pass on the request to the person in charge of negotiations.
There are other civilizations' positions nearby, and simply moving War Fortress there won't make them all give way.
The level Level-9 Strong Practitioner was somewhat disappointed, but still carried his records and headed towards the resource Delivery Zone. The homeland escort legion that was originally planned to be withdrawn remained on the route.
The nearby businesses quickly learned of this change.
New inquiries kept coming in, and some people quietly adjusted the original transport routes. Bing Xin did not respond to them all; she still needed to lead the legion to inspect another unfinished defensive position.
In a vast expanse of crystalline starry sky, extremely far from here, a colossal ancient seal slowly rises from the depths of the Ley Lines.
The Panjing Civilization Legion, gathered around the ancient seal, has been waiting for a long time.
On the other side, a crystal wheel, not yet fully unfolded, was swallowing up the surrounding accumulated mineral deposits. Large swathes of rock disappeared as the wheel's rim rotated, then transformed into a more solidified, regular radiance.
Among the four Level-11 Strong Practitioner, the one standing at the very front finally shifted his gaze away from the crystal wheel.
"Set off!"
Countless crystal warships departed their Home Starfield one after another.
