Suiming's survivors
When the highest war alert was sounded, the first to act were not the frontline troops.
Instead, it is Mechanical Engineering Platform that revolves around the channel.
Nearly half of the ancient Ark remained stuck on the other side of the passage.
If the Mechanical Civilization immediately severed the connection, this enormous Ark would inevitably be torn apart by the Spatial Turbulence between the two Different Dimensional Plane.
Tens of thousands of robotic arms extended from different directions.
A large, silvery-gray stabilizing force field rapidly spread out along the outer armor of the ancient Ark.
The complete Source-Devouring Mother Nest where Saine was located also lit up again under the control of the Magic Cube's Cube.
The Source-Devouring Beasts, which had originally intended to follow the bright yellow veins, were suddenly affected by the erroneous commands coming from inside the Mother Nest.
The tens of thousands of Source-Devouring Beasts charging at the forefront suddenly stopped.
More beasts behind them didn't have time to change direction and crashed straight into it.
The once relatively orderly pursuit line was soon thrown into chaos.
The Mechanical Civilization's garrison seized the opportunity to launch an attack.
Dense Energy Beam across the sides of the ancient Ark and blasted into the passage that was not yet fully opened.
One by one, the Source-Devouring Beasts were torn to shreds in the silvery-gray light.
Some of the still intact Source-Devouring Beast Core were quickly pulled into their own territory by a mechanical traction device.
The ancient Ark also responded at this moment.
Large swathes of blazing White Flame suddenly erupted from the numerous cracks in the armor.
These flames do not possess the same strong annihilation properties as Saine's Ash Fire.
However, when they covered the Source-Devouring Beasts, the bright yellow veins that had been constantly devouring the surrounding energy became noticeably sluggish.
The Mechanical Legion's second volley followed immediately.
The pursuers who first crossed the passage were quickly wiped out.
The Ancient Ark finally seized this opportunity to completely squeeze into the Darkness Sword Time-Space.
The moment the massive ship broke away from the passage, the surrounding starry sky, propelled by its inertia, surged forward in large, Law Tide.
The Ark stopped moving.
It slowly came to a stop before the blockade of Mechanical Civilization.
On the outside of the wrecked ship, a line of fiery characters, which Saine had never encountered before, lit up.
After a simple analysis by Skynet, the meaning of this line of text is "eternal illumination".
"The Everbright Ark?"
Saine surveyed the enormous, damaged War Platform before him.
During the cross-dimensional process just now, he had already realized that the Ark itself was a Dimension Supreme Treasure.
However, it was damaged far too badly.
Many areas have even ceased to function, relying entirely on the life forms within them to continuously fill the void with their own power.
The Mechanical Probe also detected dense, almost overlapping, life fluctuations through the damaged armor.
The vast majority of them had extremely weak life force.
The area that can be called a fully-fledged Combat Legion is less than one-tenth of the entire Ark.
The remaining space was almost entirely converted into life support pods, resource Nurturing Area, and civilization databases.
This Ark clearly did not just embark on its escape journey.
Many of the temporary facilities inside show signs of use dating back hundreds of thousands of years.
The creatures on the Ark may have long forgotten what a truly peaceful life looks like.
In the center of the Ark, a pillar of blazing white fire slowly rose.
Emerging from the pillar of fire was a tall man clad in Armor Penetration.
His body surface was covered with numerous bright yellow wounds that were unable to heal.
The most serious injury of his almost pierced through his entire chest.
But the White Flame burning deep within the man's eyes did not extinguish.
A life force at the Level-12 Early-Stage emanated from his Rule True Body.
"Where is this place?" the man asked.
His will was trembling, but his guard was extremely clear.
Especially when he saw the complete Source-Devouring Mother Nest behind the Mechanical Legion, the blazing white flames on the man's body suddenly intensified.
Outside the Everbright Ark, hundreds of millions of damaged weapons were also raised.
"The Darkness Sword Time-Space," Saine replied.
"However, this area is currently controlled by Mechanical Civilization."
The man did not lower his guard because of those words.
"You control a Source-Devouring Mother Nest?" The man was clearly incredulous.
"Just spoils of war," Saine said.
"If we belonged to the Source-Devouring Time-Space, you wouldn't be stuck here intact now."
The man fell silent.
He was well aware that the Everbright Ark had been able to successfully cross boundaries because the Mechanical Civilization had helped stabilize the passage.
Even the pursuers behind them were temporarily blocked by these Mechanical Legion.
But his experiences as a fugitive over the past million years have made him unable to easily trust any unfamiliar force.
"Open the external navigation records of the Ark."
"And the last set of rules you encountered before crossing over," Saine said.
"The Everbright Ark cannot leave this area until it is confirmed that you are not carrying Source-Devouring Corruption."
You can refuse.
"However, the surrounding Mechanical Legion will not allow you to proceed."
The man glanced at the Mechanical Warship that was closing in from all sides, and finally nodded.
My name is Miluo.
"The last Torchbearer the Flame Civilization."
A fragmented voyage log was then transmitted from inside the Everbright Ark.
Thus, Saine also saw some of the changes in the Suiming Time-Space over the past million years.
That Higher Dimensional Plane, burning with the endless flames of civilization, is now nothing but a vast, crumbling remnant.
The Flame Civilization has always been hidden in a remote corner at the very end of the Suiming Time-Space.
The injuries on Miluo's body were also left from the Dimension War back then.
They could have continued to hide.
But thousands of years ago, a Source-Devouring Patrol Legion discovered unusual firelight in the Suiming Remnant Domain.
From then on, the Flame Civilization began a long exodus.
Until recently, one of the ancient Coordinate Anchors they had captured suddenly received a signal from Mechanical Civilization.
Only then did the Everbright Ark take a desperate gamble and sail into the passage.
While Saine was still reading this information, the interdimensional Time-Space Rift behind him, which had not yet closed, began to vibrate violently once again.
A perfectly Rule Chains suddenly emerged from the other side of the passage!
The chains did not attack the nearby Mechanical Legion.
After it appeared, it immediately began to entangle itself around the Everbright Ark.
Immediately afterwards, a Rule True Body possessing the power level of the Level-12 Late-Stage slowly squeezed into the Darkness Sword Time-Space.
It's another Source-Devouring Time-Space Legion!
"All living beings, civilization data, and primal wealth that escaped from the Source-Devouring Pasture belong to the Source-Devouring Time-Space."
"Hand over the Everbright Ark."
"The World-Hunting Ancient Emperor said coldly."
The Dimension Supreme Treasure, the World-Hunting Lock, in his hand had already crossed the mechanical blockade line.
A vast expanse of local darkness surged forth from the depths of the starry sky at this moment.
The will of Ebony then descended upon this battlefield.
"This is first and foremost my Darkness Sword Time-Space."
"Who gave you permission to keep the passage open?" Ebony asked.
The World-Hunting Ancient Emperor completely ignored Ebony's questioning.
The World-Hunting Lock continued forward.
The blazing white flames that had just subsided on the outer side of the Everbright Ark suddenly surged up again at this moment!
