Saine and Lina escaped the Knight Continent Trial after helping Bone Dragon Sanchez open a passage to the Netherworld, then traveled to the Public Sea Domain to avenge Moxidu. Saine fought Di'ersi in a witnessed duel, and when Kanterla intervened, Saine turned his attack on him.
After defeating Kanterla, Saine parted from Lina and traveled east, gathering materials and developing a way to communicate and exchange goods across the Netherworld passage. News that Kelman Grant was missing in a war brought Saine to the Steel Wall Fist Knights' Hall, where he joined its effort to find his father in Thunderfall World.
Saine fought in the Thunderfall World campaign, advanced to Level 2, and clashed with Nataya after learning of their arranged marriage. The alliance remained unresolved as they were sent to the Western Front, where Saine set out with Kelman, Ulysses, Colleena, and Nataya.
Saine endured Thunderfall World’s assault on the fortress, then turned to research and became closer to Nataya and Lunna. The arc left him beginning a Body Tempering Experiment on Lunna in his laboratory.
After the Thunder Lizard mission, a Black Magician accusation forced Saine to leave the battlefield and return to Azure Source Holy Tower. He helped Luluenman prepare the tower for the Thunderfall World War and joined the expedition as a new campaign approached.
Saine fought in the Thunderfall World war, reunited with Lina, married her, and accepted an engagement alliance with Nataya while continuing to serve the Azure Source Holy Tower. As the Holy Tower prepared to invade Green Leaf World, Luluenman assembled its forces and alliances, while the world’s guardian sensed the approaching threat and Maya confronted the Wizard World’s overwhelming power.
Saine joined the invasion of Green Leaf World, researched a strange purple flame, and risked his life warning the front lines about a Demigod’s attacks. After recovering, he faced his feelings for Nataya and Lina, then left to seek reinforcements from Tourmaline.
Saine and the Azure Source Holy Tower Legion conquered Green Leaf World, and Saine gathered rare materials while the war came to an end. Back at the Azure Source Holy Tower, Saine studied the Undying Meteorite and reluctantly became an academy instructor, then refused Von Neumann’s request to become his disciple.
Saine strengthened his magic and married Nataya while Luluenman acquired a Space Fortress and prepared him for a covert mission. The arc left Saine disguised as an elf in the Biranssen Wilderness World, traveling toward a Plane Node as he and Luluenman advanced their war preparations.
Saine and Luluenman discovered that Wild Gorilla World was invading Biranssen Wilderness World, then helped bring Wizard Civilization forces into the conflict. Saine led native, Wizard, and Undead troops toward Biran Forest as the assault began.
Saine helped secure Biranssen Wilderness World and negotiated aid for its inhabitants before joining the Wizard World’s invasion of Wild Gorilla World. The arc left him searching the battlefield for the missing Spiked Green Mushroom King after his forces survived a brutal first engagement.
Saine fought through the Wizard World’s campaign against the Wild Gorilla World while studying how to combine his flames and gaining the Fire Velvet Gorilla God’s divine fire as a possible catalyst. After a costly victory, the forces regrouped, Saine returned to his experiments, and Bai Xing arrived with a vast Sea Folk army.
Saine’s allies conquered planes and expanded their slave trade while the Wild Ape God prepared a final campaign against Wizard Civilization. The Wild Gorilla Legion struck Wind Sand World, and Saine joined the battle before setting out to rescue warlocks stranded at a crashed Space Fortress.
Saine survived the brutal Wind Sand World campaign, studied demon bloodlines after the allied forces defeated the Wild Gorilla Legion, and helped the war’s survivors return to safety. Back in the Wizard World, he divided the spoils and resumed his research while friends faced uncertain paths and possible scrutiny from the Pale Bone Black Tower.
Saine strengthened the Azure Source Holy Tower, gathered rare resources, and departed with Lunna to explore Wizard World and its allied planes. Their travels expanded Saine’s research and Lunna’s combat experience, while Marylian warned Saine of a bloody calamity within a thousand years.
Saine joined the Dark Flame Holy Tower’s war in Gumo Plane, where he and his companions fought the native forces and uncovered a hidden Silver Array meant to seal the Dark Flame Master. As the array trapped the Tower’s forces, Dark Flame ordered the Space Fortress to bombard the battlefield, forcing Saine to flee with Lunna toward a volcano.
After the Gumo Plane war, Saine became a dean at the declining Dark Flame Holy Tower and rebuilt its academy by recruiting apprentices. He advanced to Third-Level Great Magician, then fought the neighboring Holy Towers’ forces, ending the arc amid a fierce battle with Ande Lie and Jini Si.
Saine reshaped Dark Flame Holy Tower's academy and led its apprentices through the Regional Academy War, then investigated a suspected spacetime disturbance beneath the Wizard World. His clash with Balas City's inhabitants ended with the Spider Queen sparing him and ordering him to help search for the missing spacetime node.
Saine left Dark Flame, traveled through the Ebarute Empire and Sky City, and gathered knowledge while helping upgrade Yuli’s magic puppet. He joined the Northern Witches’ war against Edelweiss World, where he began studying their methods of fighting and enhancing knights.
Saine was sent through the stone slab to Faelun Continent, where he investigated its gods and magic while caring for Luo. After the Spider Queen reestablished contact, Saine attacked the White Bone Church and fled Blackwater City, leaving the continent on alert for a possible divine war.
