Saine joined Moxidu’s branch, survived bloody clashes, advanced to Intermediate Apprentice, and began assisting with the Fire Element Fission Generator. When Kaisersen attacked Moxidu’s laboratory to seize Saine, Moxidu drove him off and pursued him.
Saine completed a dangerous mission, advanced in magic and alchemy, and entered a relationship with Fei'er while remaining bonded to Lina. Moxidu then revealed that the academy would send apprentices through the Time-Space Rift to prepare for exploration of another world.
Saine prepared his group for an expedition through a Time-Space Rift, then was scattered across a deadly desert world with the other apprentices. After reuniting with Lina and reaching the camps, he faced a disastrous rescue attempt and fled toward the shattered passage as apprentices fought over Element Pearls.
Saine survived the Yellow Sand World and returned to find the Underdark engulfed in war and destruction. After reuniting with Moxidu and witnessing his death, Saine carried his mentor’s ashes toward the Surface World, declining Midiqi’s offer to join Dawn Holy Tower.
Saine crossed the Underdark and the Lisia Alliance, following his bloodline magic to Grant City and his family’s territory. After refusing to stay with the Grants, he tried to escape by air, but Elder Domvol struck him and Qi down.
After leaving Grant Castle, Saine reached the Azure Source Holy Tower, enrolled, and spent two years studying magic and alien planes. When Mark challenged him, Saine won their duel with Sun’s Eye and a well-judged attack through Mark’s Group Burst Spell.
Saine advanced his magic and alchemy while investigating a maddened beast in the Giggson Duchy and uncovering a strange Divine Statue fragment. After spending years crafting a powerful Sun’s Eye Mask, he joined preparations for the Regional Holy Tower Academy War and resolved to pursue a top-twenty ranking alone.
Saine rose to the top of the Regional Holy Tower Academy War rankings by claiming resources and attacking rival apprentices, then struck both Thunder Radiance and Great Earth Academy forces. The arc left Saine fleeing into Great Earth Academy territory with more than a dozen powerful apprentices pursuing him.
Saine led Azure Source’s campaigns through the Trial Space, then drew enemy forces away from his allies as the war spread across the regions. After winning the Final Trial and becoming the Azure Source Holy Tower Master’s chief disciple, he returned to studying magic and sought materials for his research.
Saine advanced to Formal Magician, reunited with his family, and joined Luluenman’s lineage as they prepared to invade the Poison Fire Green Flame World. The Azure Source Holy Tower force reached the world, where Gagaru began breaking its Plane Barrier after declaring that its bid to join the Wizard Alliance had been rejected.
Saine joined the Wizard Civilization’s invasion of the Poison Fire Green Flame World, fought across the Flame Continent, and spent months mastering Azure Fire Magic. When Nesser constructs and native flame creatures attacked the Space Fortress, Saine reinforced the southern front as Luluenman confronted the Level-4 construct operator Ande.
Saine helped turn the fighting in the Poison Fire Green Flame World, then joined the assault on a Nesser Civilization base beneath the Magma Sea and secured valuable spoils. The campaign continued as Pinas pursued and finally defeated the Silver Armor Magic Puppet.
Saine witnessed the Wizard Civilization defeat the Nesser forces and subdue the Poison Fire Green Flame World, then returned to the Wizard World after years away. He reunited with Serena and his family, supported their plans, and welcomed Irene when she arrived, leaving Serena heartbroken.
Saine strengthened his body, returned to the Grant Family after his father advanced, and learned more from Luluenman before preparing to travel toward the Western Islands. He earned Arcane Points to obtain a soul-control technique and returned to the imprisoned Yuli.
Saine left Azure Source Holy Tower with Yuli, traveled south to the coast, and visited Midiqi at Dawn Holy Tower. There he reunited with Meili, learned about her life since City of Mozhsuobula fell, and promised to see her again as he continued his search for Lina and pursuit of Di'ersi.
Saine traveled through the South Sea, acquired Black Domain captives and information, and crossed into Hurricane Holy Tower territory. A Second-Level Black Magician from City of Munich tracked him down and attacked the merchant ship carrying him.
Saine survived Van Basten’s attack with Tourmaline’s help, then traveled with her through the Mamet United Alliance while pursuing new research. The pair parted ways at Ligoster City, but Saine stayed to meet Tourmaline’s powerful brother and his companions.
Saine traveled west with Tourmaline, visited her family, and reached the Western Islands to bury Moxidu and search for Zorro and Fei'er. He found Fei'er on Moduolong Island and promised to help her attempt advancement again.
Saine reunited with Fei'er and Zorro, pursued vengeance against Di'ersi, and prepared to travel to the Knight Continent while helping Fei'er advance. As the continent's opening drew near, Saine reached Ellen Harbor and encountered a mysterious female Black Magician who seemed to follow him.
Saine entered the Knight Continent, reunited with Lina, and joined her and Angle in exploring an ancient manor. The three gathered resources before awakening a vast undead horde in its graveyard, where powerful undead began to stir.
