After Only-I Venerable fell, Saine turned to rebuilding mechanical Dominators and weighing the Evil Tide Civilization’s requests as the Magic Cube’s power dwindled.
Saine and Master Naige'er entered the Flowing Light Retrospective World with Immortal Domain allies, encountered Curse Descent Dominators, and learned about the wider conflict. After reaching the central battlefield, they intervened against the Decayed Civilization and helped the Evil Tide Civilization begin a counterattack.
Saine and Master Naige'er drew Decayed Civilization forces away from the front, helping the Evil Tide Civilization regain ground while Saine secured Wizard Civilization's entry into the war. The Wizard forces joined the Dimensional Hegemony, where Saine drove back Mandara and helped the Red-Clothed Little Girl as the battle widened.
Saine and the Immortal Domain joined the war against Evil Tide and Decayed forces as the Five Directions Civilization Axis Group seized territory and tensions spread across the Dimensional Battlefield. The Darkness God’s battle with Zanding drew in the Zeus Skelton Empire, whose vanguard Saine disrupted with his Mechanical Cataclysm before preparing an Endless Light strike.
Saine and his allies shifted the war by drawing the Zeus Skelton Empire and Gekdraman Civilization into the conflict while the Enlightenment Prophet faced the Immortal Domain and Demon Fall Supreme. After arranging support and replenishing the Magic Cube, Saine returned to free the sealed Light Dimension Giants and Evil Tide Dominators, then prepared to take them to the Siwoda Star Territory.
Saine and the Evil Tide Civilization fought across the Siwoda Star Territory and the Ultimate Battlefield as alliances shifted and the war’s forces were repeatedly reinforced. Wukong broke through to Half-Nine, and the combined assault crippled the Zeus Skelton Empire’s vanguard before Saine clashed with its Heavenly Planet Destroyer Battleships.
Saine and his allies crippled the Zeus Skelton Empire’s fleet, captured its flagship, and finally destroyed Emperor Famas, while the Evil Tide Civilization’s counteroffensive reclaimed ground. Saine then turned to salvaging the battlefield, developing his forces’ equipment, and supporting the Destruction Spring’s growth.
As Saine advanced his God of Machines and reached Level-8 Peak, the Enlightenment Prophet attacked and was driven off by Saine and his allies. Meanwhile, Nasi Xiu vanished with a Time Worm and arrived millions of years in the past, while Saine turned to developing his Mechanical Civilization.
Saine’s forces joined the Evil Tide war effort, while the Prophet Civilization’s attempt to recruit the Demon Subjugation Alliance ended in conflict over the Hope Staff. The allied armies killed the Star Mang Nightmare Python and seized the battlefield advantage, but fighting continued as Lie Kong Demon Ancestor fell and Master Naige'er attacked the wounded Wiki.
As the Evil Tide and Decayed civilizations fought for dominance, the Fallen Emperor and Demon Fall Supreme advanced to Level 9, drawing other Level-9 Beings into a battle that spread across the Material Star Realm. Saine’s Gray Mist ally Cthulhu confronted Overseer Ming, while Ogrimmar broke into the Capricorn Empire’s heartland and received a mysterious Destruction Stone.
The Evil Tide forces regrouped for the Dimensional Battlefield as Saine completed Source Energy City and fused it with the God of Machines. The transformed machine reached Level-9 power, and Saine used the battle with Mandara to study the nature of Level-9 Beings and their Omnipotent Souls.
Saine studied the rules of the Flowing Light Retrospective World while the Evil Tide Civilization and its allies fought the Eternal Soul Clan, eventually bringing the Yan Emperor Divine Clan into the battle. The fighting left the Soul Emperor and the recovering Soul Hall Grand Elder under pressure, while Master Naige'er departed to retrieve the failing One-Eyed Demon Ancestor Corpse Puppet.
Saine left the battlefield to investigate the origins of his civilization and find Nasi Xiu in the past. After reaching the Source Tracing Wormhole Land, capturing a White-Clothed Level-9 Being, and learning from Nan Yang, he traveled thirteen million years back and sensed his son’s bloodline amid the Power of Decay.
Saine assembled allies to attack the Decayed Civilization, while Zanding returned to the Material Star Realm and faced the escalating battle. As the conflict drew in Level-9 powers, Zanding left for the Higher Dimensional Plane and entrusted the Decayed Civilization to those who remained.
Saine explored Su’s Overseer Space, uncovered Xu’s hidden letter, and advanced to Half-Level-9 as the war turned decisively against the Decayed Civilization. The Evil Tide Civilization gained territory and allies, Dracula was killed in a vampire rebellion, and the Decayed forces retreated toward their Home Star District.
Saine exploited the widening war to expand Wizard Civilization’s influence, gather resources, and pursue experiments while the Decayed Civilization lost ground and the Soul Emperor fell. The Evil Tide Civilization pushed closer to Dimensional Hegemony as Saine returned to his laboratory with the Source Tracing Stone and spoils from the battlefield.
The Evil Tide Civilization completed its Dimensional Ascension Gate and withdrew from the Decay Time-Space as the Decayed Civilization struggled to survive. After the Fallen Emperor departed and the Evil Tide began its relocation, a new contest erupted around the seven Gates of Rules, drawing Saine into a dangerous confrontation.
Saine and the Undying Supreme joined the battle against the Enlightenment Prophet, and Pan Gu helped defeat him in the Chaos Void. The Evil Tide Civilization completed its departure, while Saine gathered blood samples and prepared to follow the others later.
Saine accompanied the Evil Tide Civilization to the Seven Gates of Rules, where the Dominators fought over passage and a black torrent erupted from a Death Gate. After the gates vanished, Saine secured treasures and helped settle the survivors’ disputes, while the Undying Supreme departed for the Higher Dimensional Plane.
Saine helped the Wizard Civilization consolidate its gains, strengthen its guardians, and prepare for expansion while new worlds joined the Wizard Alliance. As he and Master Naige'er explored the altered Flowing Light Retrospective World, Saine began preparing for war with the Demon Subjugation Alliance, leaving the story on the eve of the Thirtieth Wizard Alliance Assembly.
