The thick white mist obstructed his vision.

But with the Map Skill assisting him, Linsey easily made out the terrain beneath his feet and walked as though on level ground.

"The location is correct. I'm still on a sky island."

"But the marker..."

Linsey felt his way forward.

He traveled in a straight line until he reached the edge of the sky island, then moved southward clockwise.

More than ten minutes passed as Linsey tried to find any sign of life on the island.

But unfortunately—

After walking over ten kilometers, he still found no trace of any living person on the island's surface to his right, nor did any marker appear on the map.

"An uninhabited island?"

Linsey frowned slightly as he continued onward, thinking aloud.

"No people is reasonable too."

"An island where breathing alone can sustain survival—if anyone discovered it, they would have occupied it long ago and built it into a base. Once there were enough people, no matter how dense the mist was, it would eventually be breathed dry, rather than remain as it is now."

Linsey kept moving, his feet gradually becoming caked with mud.

Finally, at the island's southwestern corner, he came across something different: a bridge extending beyond the sky island.

"A natural Sky Bridge formed by the influence of laws."

Linsey crouched down to inspect it carefully.

"There are no signs that it was ever broken, nor any traces of natural restoration. There isn't even the slightest footprint."

Puzzled, Linsey opened his map and gave it one last look.

At the very edge of his scouting range, there was still nothing remotely interesting on the island. Only after confirming there was nothing did Linsey step onto the Sky Bridge before him.
