The only entrance to the castle was a drawbridge, and it had already been raised.
The tightly shut gates were covered in iron plates, which were studded with countless iron nails, making them even sturdier and harder to breach.
In fact, ever since this castle had been built, it had been an invincible fortress that had never been breached.
Every guard in the castle walls and courtyard was a Holy Knight.
These Holy Knights had been assigned by the Holy Light Empire to protect Cleric Connor. There were a full hundred of them. In addition, Cleric Connor had brought ten Holy Knights of his own, bringing the number of High-level Holy Knights here to ten.
