Turbulent Situation

Abel certainly did not really practice in the spell practice room. After learning the Teleportation spell, he took the Word of Power Insight back to his own Magic Tower, then headed into the Dark World, where he had plenty of time to practice.

During the days he secluded himself to practice Teleportation, many things happened across the Holy Continent. The most important was the appearance of the first Alchemy Master in thousands of years—and this Alchemy Master was an elf. That fact would not surprise any of the races.

In the understanding of all the races on the Holy Continent, only an elven alchemist was qualified to become an Alchemy Master. The few who knew the truth had all kept silent about the real circumstances.

Bernie, however, had already been squatting in Hari Castle for several days and refused to leave no matter what. But because Abel was in seclusion, the people at the castle had no way to notify him.

This period of seclusion would be very long, because Abel needed to practice all the Intermediate Wizard spells. With the meditative aura attached to the Word of Power Insight, combined with the fact that every one of his spells was instant-cast, he practiced far faster than any other wizard.

Other wizards needed at least three months to practice Teleportation in a spell practice room. Abel, however, was fully confident that within three months of Holy Continent time, he could use the time difference in the Dark World to practice all the Intermediate Wizard spells to maximum level.

Thus, Abel disappeared. He did not appear in the Duchy of Camai.
