Breaking the Interruption

After killing the Stone Worm that had suddenly appeared, Abel involuntarily quickened the pace of his Teleportation. After teleporting several more times, his mental power detected a small space measuring several hundred square meters.

That space was filled with countless Scarab Beetles and Sandworms, all of them low-level Hell Creatures.

Just as Abel's mental power swept over a huge golden insect with half its body burrowed underground, the Drilling Ice Worm seemed to sense the probing of his mental power. It let out a long howl, and the Sandworms beside it began frantically laying eggs.

The Scarab Beetles followed the narrow passage to investigate. However, because the passage was so narrow, they could only form a single line.

Abel did not immediately Teleport in front of the Scarab Beetles. Instead, he used his mental power to order the Ghost Guardian Knights to charge forward and blink in front of them. Only then did he Teleport behind the Ghost Guardian Knights.

Fire Wall ignited in the passage once more. The Scarab Beetles screamed miserably in the flames, arcs of electricity constantly bursting from their bodies. Unfortunately, in the narrow passage, most of those arcs struck the walls, while the occasional arcs that attacked Abel were blocked by the Ghost Guardian Knights.

Hundreds of Scarab Beetles charged at Abel without the slightest regard for life or death. These futile attacks could not even reach his body. They could only struggle helplessly inside the Fire Wall, soon turning into a pile of charred bones.

Before long, Abel's mental power detected that every Scarab Beetle in the space had died in the passage under this style of charge.
