Abel followed Bernie through the teleportation array and was transported into a short-distance teleportation array. This appeared to be a secret location belonging to the Goff Family.

It had to be known that teleporting in through a teleportation array and a short-distance teleportation array would not expose the location. This was the usual method for keeping important areas secret.

Abel found himself in an underground area. The light came from more than a dozen underground fires drawn up around the area, illuminating the entire underground region in a fiery red glow.

The underground area was enormous, surrounded by stone walls. Chisel marks could be seen across them, and Abel was surprised to discover that this underground region had most likely been carved out directly by the Dwarf race.

This underground area was dozens of meters high and hundreds of meters wide. It was only one hall-like room; there were even more rooms along the sides.

"Abel, this is one of our family's secret research facilities!" Bernie introduced it to Abel with a smile.

He could see the astonishment in Abel's eyes, which made him extremely proud. The Dwarf race had only ever made its surface buildings public. Caves like these, carved out underground, had never been shown to outsiders.

These excavated caves were the foundation of the Dwarf race's existence. As long as these caves remained, the Dwarf race would not perish.

The dwarves obtained their ores and various materials from these caves. It was also through countless years of excavation that they had mastered how to build sturdy caves underground and inside mountains.
