"Do I still need to contract another ocean spirit beast as a contracted item?" Abel wondered. He had recently advanced several levels, and after becoming an Alchemy Master, the contract space in his soul space had expanded greatly.

He could still contract at least two more spirit beasts, but he had never intended to contract another one. The reason was that he was now a level-fifteen Sorceress, and before long, he would become an Advanced Sorceress.

By then, he could leave the Holy Continent and travel to a new world. The spirit beasts he encountered here might seem powerful, but that was hard to say about the new place.

He had never considered contracting an ocean spirit beast before, not even when he had seen Top-tier Spirit Beasts. The reason was the ocean spirit beast's limitations. He would not remain in the ocean forever, and an ocean spirit beast could only be useful in the ocean.

Furthermore, although his space beast ring was also an elven divine artifact, it had been designed for land beasts. There was no place inside for an ocean spirit beast to live.

If he contracted an ocean spirit beast, then after leaving the ocean, he could only leave it behind in the sea. That would waste one contract slot, effectively weakening his own strength.

He gave up on contracting an ocean spirit beast, but he still had to descend into the seawater. Who should go in?

He began listing all his summons and contracted items. Johnson was out of the question. He did not know how deep the seabed was. If it was too deep, Johnson could enter the sea easily, but would sink straight to the bottom. Abel had no confidence he could rescue Johnson from an extremely deep seabed.
