"Wizard Abel, are you all right?" Barbarian Fex hurried over as soon as he saw Abel appear.
"Fex, I'm fine!" Abel said casually. There wasn't a trace of battle on him. Of course, he hadn't really fought much.
"Good to hear. We're not far from our destination!" Giant Horn pointed toward a distant mountain peak and continued, "We'll be there once we cross that mountain!"
The anxiety he had felt vanished when he saw Abel return. He had made meticulous plans for this adventure, and the gains would be enormous, so he didn't want anything to go wrong.
Half-elf Leon smiled at Abel. To be honest, it would have been strange if Abel couldn't escape. The "Teleportation" spell was something even a Druid like him envied. As long as a Sorceress was prepared, it was nearly impossible to stop one who wanted to leave.
The Adventuring Team set off again, and Abel once more returned to the rear.
They encountered several fairly powerful Spirit Beasts along the way, but none of the other members of the Adventuring Team let Abel take action.
To Barbarian Fex, the fact that Abel had saved his life once was already equal to granting him a new life. On top of that, Abel had stayed behind alone to cover their retreat, pushing Fex's gratitude to its peak.
Half-elf Leon possessed the pride of the elves. The Flame Stone Giant had merely happened to counter his abilities, forcing him to withdraw. He needed to display his own strength—an Elf Druid's strength—in front of Abel.
Giant Horn, on the other hand, didn't want Abel taking too many risks. In his view, Abel was a high-level Sorceress who had just come from the Subcontinent to the Central Continent and was constantly trying to prove his strength.
