There were also the Gulf Council members Saudi Country, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.

As well as the non-NATO members Sakura Country, South Korea, Baxi Country, Argentina, Australia, and Pyramid Country.

These countries were all participating in Beautiful Country's joint naval exercises, codenamed Blade of Freedom. As many as forty-five countries were taking part.

The exercises focused primarily on naval combat power. Every country had dispatched naval forces of varying sizes. Most countries were merely putting on a show and giving Beautiful Country face, sending one or two old, battered frigates to loaf around. Some countries, however, had deployed their main fleets.

Great Britain, for example, had even brought out its HMS Queen Elizabeth. The total number of warships had reached an astonishing 315.

One had to remember that when Beautiful Country launched the Gulf War, only thirty-nine countries had participated, with just two hundred warships.

Yet for a mere exercise, Beautiful Country had created such a formation. No one outside believed it was simply an exercise.
