Dark clouds blanketed the sea. As hundred-meter walls of water rose from its surface, colossal waves descended like divine punishment from heaven, swallowing and sweeping away everything.
Before this incomparable force of nature, more than a hundred powerful warships were as fragile as paper boats. They were tossed into the air and battered about before ultimately being devoured by the enormous waves.
The tsunami swept mercilessly across the waters. Whether it was the Beautiful Country's Eisenhower and Reagan aircraft carriers, its destroyers and frigates, or even the nuclear submarines beneath the waves, none could escape this tsunami disaster.
The seemingly sturdy steel warships weighing tens of thousands of tons twisted and snapped. Their propellers shattered, while their gas turbines were powerless before the tsunami. The power they provided was insignificant beneath nature's mighty force.
Including the Blue Ridge amphibious command ship, the maritime coalition's Fleet Commander, Cedric, was swept away by the tsunami as well. He had only enough time to send one final radio transmission, ordering the USS Roosevelt Carrier Battle Group in the Bering Strait to leave immediately. Moments later, amid the tsunami's massive waves, the hull of the Blue Ridge amphibious command ship broke apart, and he sank into the cold ocean below alongside his flagship.
As the tsunami's endless wave crests gradually subsided, the Beautiful Country's maritime coalition had vanished without a trace. The fleet that had been powerful enough to sweep across most of the world and had filled the Beautiful Country with pride now amounted to nothing more than scattered wreckage drifting amid the waves.
The waves gently lapped at the sea's surface. The ocean returned to its original silence, as if the carnage from moments ago had merely been a contemptuous joke played by the sea god, as if nothing had ever happened.
