With a thunderous roar, a long section of Eldorei's towering walls collapsed, finally opening the gates of this massive city to the Resistance Army's full-scale assault.

"Warriors of Azeroth, defenders of Kalimdor!"

Jarod Shadowsong stood upon his command platform, delivering the final pre-battle speech.

"Today marks the moment that decides the ultimate fate of our world! This epic battle shall be remembered by those who come after us; we will hunt the demons to extinction, and their evil portal shall be reduced to ashes in the fires of our vengeance!"

"All who wield a sword beside me today are my brothers and sisters!"

With that, Jarod raised his sword high.

"For our fallen kin, for the Kalimdor Continent, for Azeroth, attack!"

In the future, this epic war, known as the War of the Ancients, has always been a key focus for countless historians and a focal point for many mages seeking to study the magic of the Well of Eternity era.

However, the Night Elves who lived through this war have always remained in a state of haughty silence, unwilling to reveal much.

This is hardly surprising; after all, the Night Elves have every reason to be proud.

Returning to Eldorei.

Tens of thousands of coalition soldiers raised their weapons, some charging on foot, others riding Night Sabers, surging into the once-glorious capital like a roaring tsunami, immediately engaging in bloody and brutal urban warfare against the demon garrison.

In the sky, the Dragon Legion was locked in fierce combat with the Doom Guards and the army of Felbats; dying demons fell to the ground like a rain of flesh and blood, and from time to time, a dragon would howl as it plummeted from the sky.

This was a battle where neither side cared for casualties, and both sides knew this was the final showdown.

If the demons won, the elves would lose their power to resist forever, and the world would crawl beneath the fel flames.

If the elves won, the demons would be driven back to their home on the other side of the portal, and the world would be reborn.

"The time has come. Elite Assault Team, move out immediately and strike directly at the Well of Eternity!"

Standing on a command platform hovering in the air, Jarod lowered his Arcane Spyglass and issued the new order.

A moment later, a dozen Red Dragons took flight with a roar. The six dragons in the lead each carried a member of the assault team, while the remaining dragons provided cover.

"Look at this city! Look at what those damned demons have done to it!" Malfurion shouted, looking down at the utterly ruined Eldorei below.

"Don't think about that now, Druid! The Burning Legion is temporarily pinned down by the main force of the Resistance Army; we must focus on completing our mission!" Krasus shouted back.

"Hmm... the Burning Legion is pinned down, but the Queen's guard does not seem to be."

Just then, Rhonin pointed to the sky ahead, where a large group of Felbats had appeared. Each Felbat was ridden by a court guard clad in ornate armor, led by none other than the Captain of the Court Guard, Varone.

"Engage!"

The Felbats used their immense speed to dodge the Flame Breath of the Red Dragons, and the riders on their backs seemed eager to jump onto the dragons' backs to slay the members of the assault team.

Dense, web-like barrages of Arcane Missiles appeared, tracking the enemies and accurately striking a large number of Felbat riders, causing them to explode in mid-air.

Boss Hu was wielding his staff, unleashing large-scale fire; with his assistance, the pressure on the assault team was reduced a thousandfold, restoring the numbers to an even match.

"Die, elf! This axe is for the Horde, haha!"

Brox slashed violently at a court soldier who had jumped onto his dragon's back. The poor elf was immediately disemboweled, falling to his death with a scream.

Krasus and Rhonin had also escaped their predicament, and the two were now using their Arcane Missiles like machine guns to blast their targets.

As for Elisande, she was even more at ease; the ruthless Archmage manifested a pair of hands made of Arcane energy and was playing with the idea of tearing people apart with great interest.

Malfurion, however, was locked in a bitter struggle, for the one who had jumped onto his dragon was the Captain, Varone. The cold-hearted Captain was hacking away at the young Druid with an enchanted longsword, while the latter used seeds he carried to sprout a shield made of sturdy branches, blocking the Captain's fierce attacks.

"The plan of the Light of Lights must not be interfered with! You pathetic commoners dare to betray your Queen? You are doomed to die!"

"Azshara is the one who betrayed the people! She colludes with the Burning Legion, causing this world to suffer and our elven kin to die in droves—she is the one who deserves to die most!"

Malfurion desperately dodged a fierce thrust from the Captain and then kicked him hard. Before Varone could steady himself on the dragon's back, the Druid grabbed a handful of seeds from the pouch at his waist and scattered them all over the Captain.

"Feel the wrath of nature, you fallen scum who consort with Fel Energy!"

The seeds stuck firmly to Varone and began to grow frantically. Thorny vines like chains wrapped around the Captain, their sharp barbs piercing his armor and digging deep into his flesh, tightening continuously.

"Aaaaaah..."

The excruciating pain caused Varone to lose his balance, and he fell from the back of the fast-flying dragon, awaiting his intimate encounter with the Earth Mother.

Turning his head, the surging, churning Well of Eternity was right ahead; they had reached their destination.

By the edge of the well, Mannoroth the Destructor led his Annihilan Pit Lord troops in defense. The Destructor saw the rapidly approaching dragon assault team and let out a series of roars.

Archimonde the Defiler was currently on the front lines in the city, clashing with the Dragon Legion, leaving the defense of the Well of Eternity to his lieutenant, Mannoroth.

"Look, the Dragon Soul!"

Following Krasus's guidance, everyone looked at the golden disc hovering above the Well of Eternity, which was powering the portal.

"You go get the Dragon Soul; I will deal with those Pit Lords."

Boss Hu said to the group, then controlled his dragon to rapidly decrease its flight altitude.

Seeing this, Brox and Elisande also maneuvered their dragons to descend toward the ground.

Krasus, Rhonin, and Malfurion continued to fly toward the Dragon Soul.

On the roof of a ruined house in Eldorei, Tyrande also saw the dragon assault team in action.

"Ah, it seems they have begun their assault under the leadership of Sarodar Divine Lord. Let's go; I imagine they will need reinforcements."

Illidan leaped from the rooftop and beckoned to Tyrande.

Tyrande nodded and followed Illidan as they sprinted toward the Well of Eternity.

Meanwhile, within the Queen's palace, the halls had transformed into a fierce battlefield.

Dath'Remar and his court mages had staged a massive betrayal and were pushing toward the Well of Eternity at the lowest level of the palace.

The ultimate fate of all things would be decided by this single struggle.

The time had come for everyone to fight for their lives.
