The Ancient One removed the Time Stone and handed it to Lake. "God-King."
Lake took the Time Stone and looked at the expression on the Ancient One's face. The corners of his mouth lifted. "If our guess just now was correct, then after I use the Time Stone, the deal between me and the Goddess of Vengeance can be completed."

Odin alone simply had no way to throw someone from the current timeline into the abilities of the past timeline in the real universe.

Lake held the Time Stone aloft and looked down at the river of time beneath his feet. Then, the surging river of time suddenly came to a halt.

Like a waterfall flowing backward, the river of time instantly reversed direction. It rumbled toward the place it had come from, rapidly retracing its course.
The Time Stone shone brightly, using its overwhelming power to drive the river of time backward.
After a while.
The river of time completed its anchoring.
Lake's expression remained calm as he put away the Time Stone. "Let's go."
