A Solution (Two Chapters Combined)

"..." Third Master Xu listened to the faint, assorted sounds coming through the phone, and the expression on his face changed.

He didn't hang up. Instead, he got out of bed and hurried to his study.

He opened the desk drawer, took out another phone, and made a call.

"Brr..."

The call had barely been placed for a few seconds when the person on the other end answered.

"What are you calling me for in the middle of the night?" A muffled voice came through the phone. The person on the other end had apparently been asleep and had been woken by the sudden ring.

Third Master Xu got straight to the point, explaining why he was calling without beating around the bush.

"One of my men must have gotten into trouble. I need you to send someone to check the place where he is now."

"Hm?" The voice, which had been quite groggy, immediately became clear after Third Master Xu finished speaking. The person on the other end asked seriously, "Are you sure he's in trouble?"

"There's a good chance he is..." Third Master Xu replied firmly.

A serious voice came through the phone. "All right. Send me your man's location, and I'll get someone to check it out right away..."

The call lasted less than two minutes. Third Master Xu had finished explaining the situation to his friend.

As soon as the call ended, he immediately took something out of the drawer.

It was a machine, about the size of a palm and square, with a very ordinary appearance.

After taking it out, Third Master Xu turned it on at once. He entered the password, and a flashing dot appeared on the screen.

He lightly touched the flashing dot on the screen, and a set of coordinates appeared.
