"Don't be so formal with me. You helped me out a lot back then..." The middle-aged man smiled warmly.
"Be careful lately. Although you're not part of our organization, there's no telling whether those bastards from the Black Crow Organization might trouble you because you're acquainted with me," Third Master Xu warned.
"Mm." The middle-aged man answered, then said casually, "The place I'm staying isn't far from the Ability Management Bureau. They probably wouldn't dare come looking for trouble."
After they finished discussing the matter, they ended the call. Third Master Xu put the spare phone in his hand back into the drawer, then walked over to the floor-to-ceiling window and gazed into the distance through the glass.

The door opened, and a housekeeper wearing an apron walked in with a plate of fruit.

As she spoke, the apron-clad housekeeper set the fruit plate on the desk.
Third Master Xu went to the desk and picked up a piece of cut fruit
