Background
Ying Le was once a celebrated general and prodigy of the Qi Kingdom. She led the Bai Bao Iron Cavalry through border Secret Realms, defeated prominent rivals from Pseudo Zhou and Pseudo Liang, and returned with enough prestige to enact reforms, promote agriculture and education, and codify laws. Her achievements earned her widespread popular devotion and the title of Phoenix Majesty Emperor. 32
Ten years before Li Long's death, Ying Le appeared in the Divine Marquis Manor Secret Realm and defeated Li Long, Zhao Yuanbao, Yaoshi Fang, and Helan Ying without using conventional professional traits, Tokens, or Secret Techniques. She claimed the Foundation Establishment Pill they had discovered and spared Li Long, leaving him obsessed with understanding her power. 233
After establishing her foundation, Ying Le became increasingly consumed by cruelty, indulgence, madness, and the influence of the Divine Martial True Blood. She nevertheless retained enough political support that former beneficiaries of her rule and the Bai Bao Guard remained loyal despite her atrocities. 32 276
Her later reign centered on completing her Dao Foundation and escaping the torment caused by the Mortal World Eye. To gather destiny and Blood Essence, she repeatedly used slaughter as cultivation, purging noble families, burning military towns, and ultimately sacrificing the City of Evernight and surrounding settlements. 259 327 406 414
Appearance
Ying Le is renowned for extraordinary beauty and deliberately presents herself with an alluring, imperious image. Her appearance sharply contrasts with the fear she inspires as the ruler of Qi. 124
- Long black hair, often worn loose. 275 415
- Fair skin, slender build, and graceful legs; she is frequently barefoot in private or informal settings. 250 275
- Favors luxurious or revealing clothing, ranging from imperial dragon robes to light gauze dresses and short skirts. 250 275 413
- Her swordsmanship is described as a captivating dance, combining elegant movement with overwhelming lethality. 416
- During her final battle, the Glazed Dream Pearl was embedded in her chest. 414
Personality
In her youth, Ying Le was spirited, proud, and openly disdainful of administrative work. She preferred entering Secret Realms, testing herself in battle, and judging others by how they acted under danger. Her relationship with Yuan Hong began because he stood beside her against demons rather than hiding behind her. 275
As emperor, she became capricious, possessive, and terrifyingly punitive. She treats loyalty as something to reward lavishly and betrayal as something to eradicate completely. Her subordinates receive Foundation Establishment resources and promotions for service, but those who obstruct the Bai Bao Guard may be annihilated alongside their communities. 276 327
Ying Le is not devoid of tenderness. She cared for an injured stray cat, mourned the death of Yuan Hong, and retained genuine affection for Ying Ru Shi. These moments are inseparable from her possessiveness: those she loves are also people she seeks to control, test, and keep close. 250 275 284
Her ruthlessness ultimately stems from fear. The Mortal World Eye leaves her vulnerable to dreams, hallucinations, memory loss, and the corrupting influence of the Shenwu bloodline; she pursued greater power because she believed it was her only path to survival. 402 414

- Awakened members of the lineage are historically driven into mutual slaughter until only one remains. 233
- The bloodline's Golden Nature subjects Ying Le to prolonged dreams, hallucinations, and instability. 414

- The ability's dreamlike influence also destabilizes its wielder, causing Ying Le to forget, hallucinate, and lose control of her sense of reality. 414
- It is countered by a comparable Mortal World Eye, which is why Ying Ru Shi could confront Ying Le directly. 415 416
Myriad Hearts
[Myriad Hearts] is Ying Le's command-oriented Dao Foundation Supernatural Ability and the foundation of her control over the Bai Bao Guard. 377
- Can intimidate, influence, and control mortals below Foundation Establishment. 284 377
- Immobilized Yan Shi Yi by raising its influence within him and locking down his limbs. 285
- Supports battlefield command and coordination rather than serving solely as a direct combat technique. 377
- Ying Le developed a version of [Myriad Hearts] beyond the system's original framework, making it difficult for the system to restrict. 357
Thousand Blood Feather Flow Dao Foundation
Ying Le's Dao Foundation consumes Blood Essence and enables exceptional endurance, recovery, and adaptation. It reached Fourth Revolution Grand Perfection after the massacre of the City of Evernight. 406 418
- Allows her to absorb vast quantities of Blood Essence to reinforce her Dao body. 406 416
- Its recovery capacity can keep her alive through otherwise devastating injuries as long as her blood does not run dry. 418
- Can plunder and replicate Demon Supernatural Abilities by accumulating corresponding Dao patterns. 415
- Its regenerative power was severely suppressed by Calamity Force during Ying Ru Shi's final assault. 418
Fear of the Burning House
[Fear of the Burning House] is an external sect Supernatural Ability manifested through Ying Le's Thousand Blood Feather Flow Dao Foundation. 415
- Engulfs the battlefield in a sea of blood-colored flames. 415
- Forms fire arrays and controls flaming swords as part of Ying Le's offense. 415 416
- Can be replicated or turned against her by Ying Ru Shi's Overturned Water All Beings Dao Foundation. 416
- Ying Le is not immune to her own flames. 416
Swordsmanship
Ying Le is a Sword Dao master whose combat style combines dual-sword technique, footwork, and dance-like movement. 415 416
- Personally trained palace dancers and demonstrated a dance admired as peerless. 124
- Uses two swords in close combat, switching between refined technique and overwhelming brute force. 415 416
- Her dual-sword assault suppressed Ying Ru Shi even after Ying Ru Shi seized control of the fire array. 416
- She was regarded as the greatest genius of her era even without relying on her Supernatural Abilities. 416
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Glazed Dream Pearl — A Qi royal heirloom embedded in Ying Le's chest. She used it in an incomplete attempt to transform the Mortal World Eye into a second Supernatural Ability and awaken the true [Pillow in the Red Dust]. 375 414
- Shore Flower — Given to Ying Le by Ying Ru Shi; it absorbs the life force of nearby dead beings and converts it into Blood Essence and Soul enhancement. 250

- Yuan Hong — Her first love. He fought beside her in Secret Realms, and they nearly married before his death. 275
- Li Long — A cultivator Ying Le defeated in the Divine Marquis Manor Secret Realm after he and his companions found a Foundation Establishment Pill. She spared him, leaving him obsessed with her power. 233
- Yan Qing / Calamity Successor — A major adversary whose rebellion against Ying Le escalated into a direct threat to the Qi Kingdom and her final plans. 273 275 405
- Divine Martial Emperor — Her ancestor and the source of the Shenwu bloodline, Golden Nature, Mortal World Eye, and Glazed Dream Pearl legacy. 233 419
