There was no scorching lava here, nor the pungent smell of sulfur; there was only a distorted and hazy Void.
Countless enormous mirrors float in the air, each reflecting a tormented and struggling soul, experiencing endless deception and betrayal ( the God of Deceit and Lies, as previously stated).
At the end of this corridor stands an inverted Black Pyramid.
Inside the main hall, Asmodeus, the Fifth Lord of the Abyss and the God of Deceit and Lies, was idly toying with a Crystal Ball in his hand.
Sealed within that Crystal Ball was the core of a small plane, where countless beings wailed in agony, yet it had become a source of amusement for this terrifying being.
"You mean, the cannon fodder you sent to the Starfall Ruins disappeared instantly?"
Asmodeus didn't even look up, his voice languid and magnetic, yet carrying a chilling edge that could freeze one's soul, " Kersu, you're getting more and more senile. Is such a trivial matter really worth your personal trip?"
Below, the Lich King Kelsu's soul flame flickered uneasily. He bent over, his voice urgent. "My lord, this wasn't an ordinary rout. It happened in an instant! Tens of millions of troops, dozens of world-class BOSS, were completely wiped out at the same time!"
Asmodeus paused slightly in his hand, which was playing with the Crystal Ball, and finally raised his head, revealing a face that was so handsome it was almost otherworldly.

Asmodeus scoffed, "Mortals are mortals after all. The so-called detection of the World Tower is nothing but a joke. It can only see a sliver of possibility, but not destiny."
"And I am their fate."
Kersu dared not refute, but his unease did not diminish as a result.
After all, he wasn't Abyss Lord; even if the other party didn't become a god, they could still kill him.

Kersu was also stunned.
Although he sensed the terrifying pressure, he was limited by the rules and did not witness the arrival of the Eye of Annihilation.
" Morpheus... He is the embodiment of the Abyss Will, existing solely to eliminate variables."
Asmodeus's expression turned more solemn than ever before. "The fact that they were able to lure Him out means that what appeared in that plane wasn't some genius, but a true anomaly!"

"Time manipulation skills?" Asmodeus sneered. "Foolish. Before the gods, time is the most meaningless thing."

His voice carried a hint of frustration. " Morpheus is the embodiment of the Abyss Will. The power He can unleash there is already the limit that the place can contain. Even He couldn't kill that human. If I went, I wouldn't be able to annihilate him under the suppression of the Great Universe Rules."
The Great Universe Rules like an insurmountable Natural Chasm, restricting the projection of power by these higher beings.

Asmodeus rose from his Throne and paced back and forth in the hall.

Asmodeus waved his hand, and countless densely packed black Portal appeared in the Void behind him.
"If one or two can't kill him, then use a trillion-strong army to overwhelm him!"
"I will wage total war! At all costs, I will wipe this human, along with his entire plane, from the Great Universe!"
