In the upcoming brand new version.

We have fixed the bug that limited updates to only two chapters per day during the new book launch period.

That was a joke.

"1. The effect of Dragon Essence Potion has been changed to 'Immune to lethal attacks below the level of the Celestial'."

There's no 2 this time.

Below is a portion of the CG footage that was stolen and leaked by hackers (blurred).

Excerpt 1: Moonlight bathed the hills.

The prophet's tentacles extended from beneath his grey robe, swaying in the wind.

His lifeless gaze inadvertently swept over the bleeding young man, his tone detached and almost divine. "Young Martial Artist! I see through you!"

"Excerpt 2: "

Her fair, jade-like feet trembled as she stepped nervously on the pebbles beside the hot spring.

The flushed girl awkwardly pulled her long hair back, a gesture that forced her to puff out her not-so-broad chest, and even her voice trembled:

"^&%$*$^&**("

Roger couldn't help but pick at his ear. "What are you talking about?"

"Segment 3:

On the ruins covered with Arcane Runes.

The disheveled young mage, seemingly insane, raised his divine weapon high in the air—

"Only the wise are worthy to save Mystra!"

The sunlight stretched his shadow longer and longer.

It vaguely resembles an octopus.

"Segment 4:

The duel, which ended with a brief exchange, has come to an end.

The burly man with a full beard asked breathlessly, "What kind of weapon is that?"

Roger casually grabbed and put away the new special weapon. "This is a gun."

The bearded man was taken aback. "You call this a gun?"

Roger said calmly:

"This is a real gun."

"Segment 5: The file is corrupted"

Friendly reminder: This CG is not an actual demonstration; the actual effect is for reference only.

Alright, now it's time for my launch announcement (the sob story segment)! To be honest, I'm already in a pretty bad situation without even needing to say anything.

Not counting those who are unemployed and staying at home since the pandemic, I guess many people are like me.

Let me tell you about the troubles I encountered while writing this book.

Fun fact: When I started writing the book, I had 12 chapters in reserve.

Mid-November.

Suddenly, a kidney stone fell out, causing excruciating pain that lasted for more than a week.

It was incredibly tough; those who know, know.

That's when the drafts were all used up.

End of November.

I inexplicably caught a severe cold and am still suffering from it.

A cold is one thing, but coughing is the real pain.

I couldn't sleep at night because of a cough, and I typed in a daze during the day.

When I was writing these recent chapters, I often felt like I wanted to tear out my trachea and lungs and scratch them.

My cough is so bad.

Even urinating is difficult.

miserable.

The kind that's capitalized.

Okay, that concludes the sob story segment.

I will get back to health as soon as possible and write interesting stories for everyone.

But the objective facts are there.

I dare not say how many chapters I can release at once.

I can only say that I will update more as much as I can, based on my physical recovery, while ensuring that I update at least two chapters of 5,000 words per day.

I will update two chapters right after midnight tonight.

The next update will be tomorrow at 6 PM, possibly two chapters, or maybe just one.

After that, it became a regular update at 10 AM and 6 PM every day.

I will also release any extra chapters around these two times.

As for how many monthly votes are needed to add an extra chapter, it's not that I don't want to, it's that I really can't do it.

Furthermore, I don't like to promise things beyond what I can do.

Readers' desires are endless, while authors' abilities are limited.

I will write the book at my own pace and try to update it more often.

Brothers, just try your best to subscribe, we won't ask for anything else.

Speaking of subscriptions.

We have to talk about our subject matter and category.

Now open the Qidian Games category.

At least half of the new books are about League of Legends, and the rest are a bunch of old books.

The game's otherworldly aspect is really dying out.

That's how online novels work; readers vote with their feet, and the categories with the most subscribers are the popular ones.

But I still really like this subject matter.

This book is quite unique in the genre of isekai games.

I think I wrote it pretty well.

The brothers all agreed.

I hope that when it's time to subscribe, it won't just be a sliding tackle and a yo-yo.

Moreover, Qidian now has Qidian Coins.

You can earn 130 coins a day.

If I update with 6,000 words every day, a regular member will only get 30 coins.

For those who are used to playing for free, spending a little time each day can allow them to play four or five books simultaneously.

Subscriptions are really important.

I'd like to try and see if I can make a living from this; it all depends on everyone else.

See you after midnight.

P. S.: I'll post the list of donors and character cards together next time.
