During the battle against the Great Horned Deer Lord, Zhang Yang instinctively activates Soul Projection when an Azure Wolf Demon attacks him. Within the projected field, his perception accelerates and the nearby Imprisonment Spears become extensions of his body. He commands a spear to fly through enemies, killing thirteen Azure Wolves and two Armored Deer Demons in a moment 22.

The field soon becomes central to Zhang Yang's crafting and research. He stabilizes it within a three-meter diameter to capture and purify Wolf Demon Demonic Energy, then uses dense Soul Threads to dissect the energy's internal layers 28 29.
