After leaving Pendor World, he entered Firewall World and began securing a new homeland, where he discovered an injured ice dragon and an unseen presence.

• Zhang Yang formed the Blazing Fire Mercenary Group with Tonks and Kalli, recruited young fighters, and led them through training and battles against deserters, heretics, and Rogue Knights.
• After defeating Maddy’s Black Spider Squad, Zhang Yang led his group through Nudal Ridge, mastered the Dragon Soul Talisman, and established a permanent camp at the valley pass.
• Zhang Yang transformed Bob into a Dragon Soul Warrior and led his forces into repeated battles against Rogue Knights while Old Alec recruited and organized the growing camp.
• Zhang Yang advanced his talismans, destroyed Theo’s final imprint, and established a Wanderer Camp, then ordered his people to flee as the Antivirus Hunters approached.

Zhang Yang built up his forces and village, faced mechanical armies and threats from the Heavenly Court, then was diverted to the Great Wilderness while trying to reach the Investiture of the Gods List. He arrived in a world devastated by the death of its heavenly god and began cautiously cooperating with Spring Return City while investigating its past.

• Zhang Yang crossed into a monster-filled world, strengthened his troops with dragonblood and crystals, and established defenses and farmland around his Imprisonment Array.
• Zhang Yang fought a mechanical legion, captured its fortress, and recovered Mechanical Soul Gold before following his main body's message and awakening the flood dragon.
• Zhang Yang absorbed the Breath of the True Realm, defeated several enemy forces, and used the Central Earth Meridian to reincarnate four sword cultivators and transform his cavalry into Destruction Knights.
• Zhang Yang cultivated spirit wheat, shared it with his companions, and taught the Azure Dragon, who then called itself his disciple.
• Zhang Yang killed the Nine-Armed Demonic God, absorbed Chentang Pass into his Village Building Order, and learned that its sleeping residents had been prepared as sacrifices bearing Heavenly God Marks.

After advancing the Boat of Death and spreading a plant-based ecosystem, he chose to support the Heavenly Dao Little Girl’s Wood Demon prototype.

• Zhang Yang followed Qingfengzi into the wilderness, defeated the bone horde and its guardians, and accepted Qingfengzi as his master under the name Yun Yangzi.
• Zhang Yang restored his Golden Core cultivation, built a powerful sword, and led his forces through demon territory before reaching the abyss region of the River of Time.
• Zhang Yang cooperated with Rolling Stone to create a Sequence Editor, but Rolling Stone left poisoned Demonic Dao behind and fled with the spiritual-plant seeds.

Zhang Yang survived Cangdong Heavenly God's God-Refining Array, joined the Time Guardians, and prepared his realm and forces for the Fourth Sequence. After arriving there, he went to the Azure Nether Realm ruins, reunited with the Azure Nether Immortal Sword, and began investigating the Thousand-Handed Race's law seals.

• Zhang Yang entered the God-Refining Array, helped his disciples comprehend Grand Daos, and was trapped in the Spittoon Urn before Cangdong Heavenly God was killed.
• Zhang Yang accepted the Stellar Imprint, became an Apprentice Time Guardian with a Four-Leaf True Spirit, and returned to find the Wood Demons threatening the Heavenly Dao Maiden's authority.
• Zhang Yang rebuilt the realm around Heavenly Sword City, prepared his forces and sword-cultivator plans, and brought Butcher and 13,500 dead Antivirus Hunters to be forged into sword embryos.
• Zhang Yang provoked a three-race war to manage his realm's dwindling resources, then merged the Death Black Sail with the Small Mud Boat and carried the realm toward the Fourth Sequence.
