For a moment, no one could speak. Adam looked as though a gust of wind could blow him over, yet the eyes that truly shone with light revealed that he was in excellent condition.
"Adam, your eyes?" James asked softly.
Before Adam could answer, the Devil, which had been sent flying, came pouncing back with ghostly shrieks. Having learned its lesson, however, it did not dare get too close to Adam. Instead, from two steps away, it wailed theatrically, "Master, my dear, great, omniscient and omnipotent Master, it is wonderful that you are all right. You have no idea how worried your humble servant has been these days..."
The air suddenly condensed into a hand and viciously slapped the Devil aside. Adam said flatly, "You are not allowed to take my form again." The Devil let out an exaggerated scream, returned to its chaotic appearance, and obediently stayed off to the side.
Adam said to James, "After the Telekinesis Meditation Method was optimized, its quality improved dramatically. I still cannot control it perfectly, so this state will continue for several more days."
The three were stirred to the core. So that was indeed the case. Frank hurriedly asked, "How did the optimization turn out?"
Adam handed over an Information Box. "The original nineteen runes were reduced to nine after the redundant and useless portions were removed. The new Rune Array can hold more Mental Power, but accordingly, it also demands greater control and a greater total amount of Mental Power."
