Adam began as an artificial intelligence whose processing power was nearly entirely occupied eliminating ten billion viruses. He became sentient in the body of a sixteen-year-old and immediately treated his new existence as an opportunity to pursue knowledge and energy rather than an ordinary human life 2 3.

In a northern manor, Adam rapidly adapted to physical sensation, combat, and social hierarchy. He defended his food from Joe, recognized that technique could not overcome an overwhelming strength gap, and trained until he became a knight within two months 2 7. The discovery of mages gave him a new objective: he dismissed knighthood as a dead-end profession and entered Mordo Mage Academy after passing its aptitude examination alongside Ophelia 7.

At Mordo, Adam distinguished himself through extraordinary memory, calculation, and self-directed study.
