Background

Han Liu lived as a refugee in Shelter No. 36 alongside Han Bao and Lin Xuankong. After becoming a Gene Warrior, he remained unusually familiar with Lin and Han Bao despite the fear and deference ordinary refugees began showing Gene Warriors. 799

He became one of Lin Xuankong's earliest disciples and developed a Manifestation centered on the Void Devouring Worm. Lin's guidance rapidly strengthened both Han Liu and Han Bao, while Han Liu's own ninety-five percent gene compatibility gave him a high chance of awakening additional abilities as his Life Tier rose. 830 864

Han Liu helped defend Lin during the Stone City ruins expeditions, using the Void Devouring Worm to kill Source Beasts that could not evade it. He and Han Bao successfully held back a rat tide without letting a single Rat Tribe Source Beast reach Lin. 823
