Lü Yue was an orphan whose exceptional martial bones led Lü Zhong—the Meng Family Second Branch's chief steward and a third-generation household servant—to adopt him. Lü Zhong trained him as a future assistant capable of replacing him in service to Meng Zhao. 1 16
