Background / History

Pandora was originally the first Aeon born in the universe and the source of the Path of [Emotions]. She created life and bestowed the Path of [Emotions] upon it. The later births of Paths such as [Destruction], [Abundance], [Preservation], [Immortality], [Order], and [Harmony] were connected to her influence. 197 198

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse—Plague, War, Famine, and Death—betrayed Pandora in an attempt to divide her Path and ascend to Aeonhood. Plague deceived her, her Path collapsed, and the Four Horsemen and other Aeons killed her. Her remains and authority were divided, but her soul survived and eventually became housed within the Pandora Scythe Blade. 198

The scythe was later kept in the Kasantiya royal collection. It was regarded as a top-grade Divine Artifact blessed by an Aeon, and the First Emperor of Kasantiya was said to have used it to carve out the kingdom. The imperial family did not know that the scythe possessed a consciousness. 2 3

Pandora awakened to find Bai Sheng exhausted and suicidal after the deaths of his soldiers. She scolded him, struck him with the scythe’s handle, and adopted a protective role toward him. Bai Sheng became the first Spirit Puppet inheritor to recognize and cooperate with her, making him essential to her recovery. 2 9 100

After Bai Sheng joined the Stellaron Hunters, Pandora helped him gather souls for the scythe. She extracted Aatrox from a magic sword, overpowered him, and sealed him into one of her gemstones. 5 13 Later, she guided Bai Sheng through the use of the Seven Sins and assisted with the awakening of Beleria and Aatrox. 35 79 100

Pandora eventually disclosed her true identity to Bai Sheng. She acknowledged her desire to reclaim her lost authority, rebuild the Path of [Emotions], and take revenge on the Four Horsemen. 197 198 During the conflict with Plague, she repeatedly advised Bai Sheng and helped resist Plague’s attempts to capture and refine her residual soul. 209 270

Bai Sheng later restored Pandora with a large quantity of Path Energy. She awakened with her memories restored and confronted War, who possessed the true soul of one of Bai Sheng’s friends. Pandora killed War and recovered the soul. 420 421

Appearance

Pandora most often appears as a black-and-purple scythe with seven colored gemstones embedded in its blade. When manifesting a humanoid form, she appears as a tall woman in an ornate purple gown, sometimes with her face hidden behind a veil. Her Aeon form contains deep darkness beneath the gown and radiates overwhelming Path energy. 3 90 197 346

Pandora is stern, sarcastic, and quick to reprimand Bai Sheng, frequently striking him with the scythe’s handle when he behaves recklessly. Beneath her harsh manner, she is intensely protective of him and treats him like a child or family member. 2 13 421

She is pragmatic and suspicious of other Aeons, especially those connected to her betrayal. Pandora is willing to negotiate when necessary, but she demands guarantees and reacts aggressively to perceived manipulation. Her caution is evident in her dealings with Aha and the Abundance. 239 469
