"If your enemy is Truth, you have no reason not to stand with me."
Galiusha smiled as she looked at Cheng Shi, seemingly waiting for him to explain something.
Seeing this, Cheng Shi knew that the effects of the Time Battlefield were growing weaker. His opponent had definitely retained some memories from before the reset.
Sure enough, after noticing Cheng Shi's scrutinizing gaze, she nodded openly.
"Indeed. I received some fragmented memory scenes, but these events clearly haven't happened yet.
"This world seems more interesting than I imagined. Tell me, Mr. Prisoner. Let's see how I can help you."
From the standpoint of two people who were both experimental variables, this was probably a genuine heart-to-heart.
Cheng Shi wasted no time and told Galiusha everything he had experienced, even including the fact that he could reset time.
Such a secret was a trump card that players needed to keep hidden, but to an NPC—especially a sage renowned for her wisdom who was currently helping him—Cheng Shi felt that the more he said, the better she would understand the current situation and the more comprehensive a way out she could devise.
Cheng Shi was a man with considerable self-awareness. He could not say that he knew nothing about Truth experiments, but his understanding was only superficial. After all, having experienced more things meant that even if he had never eaten pork, he had at least seen pigs run. But asking him to analyze and break through an experiment in which he himself was the variable was demanding a little too much.
This was not something that could be settled by worshipping a god a few times. It required a vast foundation of knowledge about Truth to analyze the experiment and the situation, then find a possibility within the impossible.
