Background / History

A million years before the main events, the God Realm sought to unite the myriad worlds. Because worlds were separated by immense distances, the God Realm gathered the power of its gods to forge the Myriad Worlds Divine Ball, a supreme Divine Artifact capable of connecting to any living world. The God Realm then used it to plunder World Origins and integrate them into itself, intending to elevate the God Realm beyond a Greater Thousand World into an Infinite World. 272 275 277

The worlds targeted by this campaign resisted because the loss of a World Origin would cause a world to collapse. Their combined forces waged a thousand-year war against the God Realm, ultimately shattering the Myriad Worlds Divine Ball into fragments and sealing the God Realm with the Myriad Gods Great Formation. The fragments scattered throughout the myriad worlds, stripped of most of their former divine power. 272 289

After the Demon Spirit World's collapse, one fragment emerged as a scarred black sphere and sent black light into Earth's World Origin. This caused Earth to evolve toward a Middle Thousand World and created its connection to the Spirit World. 266 285

The fragment's will had already detached from its body as the Demon Spirit World's origin weakened and merged with Qin Fen's soul. It became the panel that converted World Origin power into “Righteous Qi Value,” allowing Qin Fen to improve his cultivation. 297

Later revelations establish that the artifact was not truly forged by the God Realm alone: Chaos used the gods of the God Realm as a medium to create it. This explains why its will ultimately fell upon Qin Fen, the reincarnation of Chaos. 334

Lord of the World

The revelation that the panel is the fragment's will establishes Qin Fen as the true controller of Earth's World Origin. Through the artifact, Earth seals passages, devours the Spirit World, and begins expanding through the myriad worlds. 297 298 301
