January Summary and Monthly Pass Request.

A total of 314,215 characters were updated in January, still maintaining ten thousand characters a day.

I had originally planned to attend the Singapore Annual Meeting on January 27.

After all, for an ordinary author,

getting such an opportunity was truly difficult.

With Lao Tian's talent and ability,

this annual meeting was most likely my only chance.

It would be hard in the future.

In the end... I still didn't go.

For one, I had to update ten thousand characters a day. Going would inevitably delay my writing for several days.

For another, that day was also a relative's wedding. What terrible timing.

Seeing my fellow authors meet the great authors they had read back when they were young and first started reading webnovels,

Lao Tian was envious.

I can only keep working hard.

Do what I can and leave the rest to fate.

I hope I can write a book worthy of attending the annual meeting someday.

As of now, this book has over 4.5 million characters and has been serialized for fifteen months.

An average of 300,000 characters per month.

The protagonist has reached Level Nine in both paths, so the plot will definitely move faster from here on.

If the perspective before the protagonist reached Level Nine had focused on his own cultivation,

then now that he stands alongside demigods at the pinnacle of civilization, the perspective ahead will gradually shift from the individual to the growth of Nora Civilization.

The main theme will inevitably be Nora's struggle with the Underworld, the Abyss, the Astral Realm, Nightmare, and the Dark Insect Race.

So far, this book's historical timeline can be divided into the following stages:

First stage: The protagonist struggled to preserve himself.

1. Five Realms Great Expedition 2. Black and White Wizard War

During these two periods, the protagonist was too weak.

So the historical progression could only be shown through narrative exposition.

The protagonist himself had no sense of participation.

Like an ordinary commoner, he worried about being persecuted and calculated gains and losses.

He watched the powerful perform on the stage.

Every day, he relied on the sense of security brought by the Proficiency Panel and imagined the future.

Second stage: The transition in perspective, namely the Dark Ancient Tower arc.

The Ancient Tower served as a link between what came before and what followed in this book.

First was the transformation of the protagonist's strength.

Second was that the perspective gradually ceased to be limited to the Wizard World.

Third stage:

1. Plane Convergence 2. Abyssal Blood War

After the protagonist grew stronger, it became inevitable that he would step into the spotlight.

So his dealings with the Wizard Council began to increase.

At this stage, I rarely wrote battles between the protagonist and wizards.

For the most part, he was beating up alien races and demons.

Once he became strong enough, bullying his own people was no longer interesting.

That was why the Golden Walker had received quite a bit of setup early on.

In the end, their old grudge was settled through him and Levi saving each other.

At this stage, the main sailors of civilization's great ship, those Legendary Wizards, gradually made their appearances, while Nora slowly grew stronger amid the cracks.

This was the opportunity Sauron created for Nora and Wizard Civilization, as well as the tone of this ten-thousand-year era. Levi would certainly play an important role going forward, joining the Legendary Wizards in making Nora soar high.

Once I finish writing this part and tie up some loose ends, this book will come to a fulfilling conclusion for me. That is also my goal for the next few months.

Enough rambling. Back to the point.

January's owed updates: 1. Monthly Passes exceeded 10,000, for a total of 10 × 3,000 = 30,000 characters owed.

2. Recommendation Tickets went from 280,000 to 300,000, for a total of 2 × 3,000 = 6,000 characters owed.

Total owed: 36,000 characters.

Actually, this tally does not mean much. Back when I set up these bonus updates, I had expected to update six thousand characters a day before release. I never expected that I would keep up ten thousand a day for a whole year. On top of an existing ten thousand-character daily update, I truly cannot manage extra updates anymore, so going forward, I will just update as much as possible until the book is finished.

Finally.

Please forgive me if I cannot maintain ten thousand characters a day during the New Year holiday.
