Performance Report, Update Schedule Explanation, and Next Month's Bonus Chapter Plan!
Results report, update status, and extra chapter plan for next month! Thank you for your support, all readers. The book's first-day subscriptions reached 2400+, 400 higher than my prediction of 2000.
The subscription-to-receiver ratio of 10 to 1 is not bad for a popular genre like Mystical Fantasy.
I. According to the bonus chapter rules, the bonus chapter schedule for next month is as follows:
1. Bonus chapters for first-time subscribers: 4 chapters.
2. Bonus chapter for Recommendation Ticket: Although we haven't reached 10,000 votes yet, we're almost there, so we'll add one more chapter for Recommendation Ticket.
3. Bonus chapters for average subscriptions: Currently, the average subscriptions are 2200+. I will report on the average subscription situation at the end of this month. For every 200 increase in average subscriptions above 2200, one extra chapter will be added. For example, if the average subscriptions reach 3000 at the end of the month, four extra chapters will be added. This will depend on the growth of average subscriptions.
4. Bonus chapter for monthly tickets: I don't have 1000 monthly tickets yet, so there are currently 0 chapters. I will add a bonus chapter next month if I do.
In summary, 5 extra chapters are tentatively scheduled for next month.
Second, let me talk about future updates.
If it's two chapters a day, then it will be updated at 12 noon and 8 pm.
If it's three chapters a day, then it will be updated at 8 AM, 12 PM, and 8 PM.
If there is an extra update, it will be at 0:05 AM.
The author has a backlog of chapters, so the update schedule will be very fixed. All chapters have been set to be updated on a schedule, making it convenient for everyone to follow the updates.
There are still 20 days left in December. I will update 11,000+ words every day until December 31st.
Starting from New Year's Day, the original plan for the second month was to update 8,000+ words per day (at that time, the epidemic policy had not been fully relaxed, so I thought that I would not be able to hold the wedding and would have time to write the book, so I set a goal of updating 8,000 words per day).
However, now that restrictions have been lifted, the author needs to hold the wedding on January 8th next year. Before that, the author needs to travel from Beijing to the bride's family home (Henan) for a few days, and then return to his hometown (Shanxi) to prepare for the wedding.
In addition, the author also has a full-time job, so the writing time is compressed indefinitely. In order to prevent being too busy to update next month, I can only tentatively update 6000+ words per day next month, and it may even be 4000+ words per day (this should not happen. The book is doing very well. The author will not allow such a lazy behavior of updating 4000 words per day. This is just to leave myself a way out in case of emergency).
I'll be updating less in January to build up some backlog of chapters. But don't worry, I won't stop updating for the sake of my 1500 RMB attendance bonus. As an author, I want to update 20,000 words a day, or even more, even more than the readers do, but there are only 24 hours in a day.
On the other hand, for part-time authors, it is impossible to balance quantity and quality. If the quantity increases, the quality will inevitably decline. Therefore, in order to maintain the pace of this book and ensure quality, the update volume will definitely not be as large as it is this month. I hope you can understand.
