Construction History
After becoming an official wizard, Sunan identified a Wizard Tower as a necessary foundation for confronting the Gloomy Throne and securing the Starlight Continent. He intended to reuse materials from the seized Starry Sky Tower, but chose to build a larger Small Wizard Tower rather than merely rely on that inheritance structure 182.
Sunan selected Dragon Forest as the construction site and delegated the tower body and foundation work to Butler Number 1 and a thousand Clay Golems. He personally planned the tower's energy supply, dimensional interior, defensive field, weapons, golem legion, and artificial intelligence systems 209.
The tower body was deep blue and exceeded six hundred meters in height. Once the central crystal energy transmission system, Elemental Pool, and Tower Spirit Number 1 were installed, Sunan named it Starlight 213.
Starlight later destroyed an invading Gloomy Throne Wizard Tower with overwhelming turret fire, Wizard-grade puppets, and a Disintegration Cannon. Sunan subsequently dismantled the captured enemy tower for research materials and incorporated its useful components into Starlight's upgrade plans 249 250 252.
By the time of the Gloomy Throne war, Starlight had reached Major Wizard Tower status and could endure attacks from multiple enemy Wizard Towers while destroying opposing Medium Wizard Towers 271 276. It was later upgraded to a Large Wizard Tower and relocated to Wu Lan City, where Sunan continued using it as a center for cultivation, research, and military development 286 292.
Appearance
Starlight is a towering deep-blue structure whose main body rises more than six hundred meters into the sky. Its initial completed shell was described as spear-like and grand, with a control center located at its summit 213.
- Deep-blue exterior 213
- More than 600 meters tall during its early Small Wizard Tower stage 213
- Capable of flight after installation of its Levitation Ring 231
- Internally expanded through Dimensional Space Technology, allowing a seemingly compact tower to contain areas larger than a town 209
Internal Facilities
| Facility | Function |
|---|---|
| Simplified Elemental Furnace | Starlight's later primary energy source, replacing the Elemental Pool and its former energy-storage role 286 |
| Central Crystal Energy Transmission System | Distributes power throughout the tower 213 286 |
| Experiment Area | Protected workspace for Sunan's research and magical-item development 209 286 |
| Planting Area | Supports magical plants through an Energy Gathering Array 209 286 |
| Meditation Area | Uses an Energy Activation Array to improve meditation efficiency 209 286 |
| Practice Area | Training space for spell and combat practice 213 286 |
| Residential Area | Living quarters for tower personnel and residents 213 286 |
| Warehouse Area | Storage for materials, equipment, and resources 213 286 |
Tower Spirits
Tower Spirit Number 1
Tower Spirit Number 1 awakened when Sunan activated the Elemental Pool and connected itself to the tower. It can scan Starlight's structure, import blueprints, integrate data, and generate a three-dimensional model of the entire tower 213.
- Built around a Legendary Soul Crystal core 213
- Responsible for Starlight's daily operations 229
- Provides data analysis and experimental assistance 213
- Reported Traveler's death after detecting the disappearance of his life aura within the tower 231
- Later enhanced during Starlight's Medium Wizard Tower upgrade 254
Tower Spirits Number 2 and 3
Sunan ultimately created three Tower Spirits so that Starlight could divide daily operations, battle command, and experimental assistance between separate artificial intelligences 209 229.
- Tower Spirit Number 2 — created as part of Sunan's plan to improve experimental support; later enhanced 229 254
- Tower Spirit Number 3 — created when Starlight's Small Wizard Tower construction was completed 231
- All three Tower Spirits had been enhanced by Starlight's Large Wizard Tower stage 286
Defensive and Combat Systems
| System | Documented Configuration |
|---|---|
| Protection | Super-Large/Enhanced Mizzle Protection Performance Energy Field 286 |
| Spell Turrets | Spell Turret III ×300 286 |
| Disintegration Cannons | Disintegration Cannon III ×30 286 |
| Plasma Cannons | Plasma Cannon II ×10 286 |
| Pulse Cannons | Pulse Cannon II ×1 286 |
| Adamantine Golems | ×10,000 286 |
| Tentacle Lord Puppets | ×550 286 |
| Mystic Puppets | ×75 286 |
| Shadow Steel Golems | ×50 286 |
| Vajra Golems | ×30 286 |
| Supreme Golems | ×8 286 |
Starlight's 300 Spell Turrets were already sufficient to nearly collapse an enemy Small Wizard Tower's energy field in repeated volleys. Its firepower, defensive field, and Elemental Pool exceeded what the Gloomy Throne wizards expected from a Small Wizard Tower 249 250.
