After Harlan Vela left, the five First-Class Wizard Apprentices hurriedly looked to Locke, waiting for his instructions.
These five wizards were all relatively old. Wizards capable of entering the Forbidden Forest Secret Realm were generally either prodigies blessed by heaven or veteran First-Class Wizard Apprentices who had clawed their way up bit by bit.
In other words, this chance to enter the Forbidden Forest Secret Realm was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these five old First-Class Wizard Apprentices, perhaps their last chance in this life to turn things around.
At that moment, they all looked at him with reverence and trust, even feeling fortunate. A year ago, Locke had already made a name for himself as the [Beholder] Wizard. His exploits had spread throughout Lilith's Cottage, earning the admiration, envy, and worship of these wizards.
Therefore, upon learning that Wizard Seed Locke would be leading this Forbidden Forest Secret Realm expedition, many of them felt fortunate.
That was a good thing.
Likewise, leading them meant both authority and responsibility.
Where there was responsibility, there was bound to be authority. This was a truth Locke had come to understand at Lilith's Cottage.
Locke swept his gaze over them and stated plainly, "The Forbidden Forest is extremely dangerous. There are many wild magic plants inside that you have never seen before. Forbidden Forest-type Magic Plants have always been known for their mystery and power. The reason plant-type wizards in the Southeastern Corner Region are so formidable is also because the Forbidden Forest is a natural treasure trove."
"So once we enter, you will follow my orders. If anyone leaves the group without permission, they will bear all consequences themselves."
The five First-Class Wizard Apprentices exchanged glances, each seeing the others' faith in Locke.
Sebastian, a First-Class Wizard Apprentice, was the first to speak.
