Chapter 379: One Month
A month flew by. During that month, Locke stayed at the White Elephant Tower. Every day, he was either meditating or traveling between the four projects.
He had already become familiar with the Land of Six Towers, or at least the area around the White Elephant Tower.
The four projects could not possibly be located inside the White Elephant Tower. They were housed in several small wizard towers outside it.
Locke hired local carriage teams to travel there. Over the course of the month, he constantly moved between four cities in the Land of Six Towers, entering their wizard towers to observe the projects he favored and helping all four apply for funding from the Association branch.
At that moment, inside a small wizard tower in the center of a city called Vilas.
Locke stood in the wizard tower's core structure—the core energy pool—with Wizard Collins, his assistants, and Claudia Mendes, the witch assistant assigned to him by the Philayde Family.
Within the azure Arcane Energy Pool, thirty Wandering Shadow-Eye Grass plants grew rapidly. Nourished by the pool water, they quickly sprouted, matured, and underwent swift transformation.
A wizard tower could gather magical energy from the surrounding earth veins and air to form an Arcane Energy Pool. Or rather, the Arcane Energy Pool was the wizard tower's most essential and valuable component.
Ordinary Magic Plants could accelerate their growth when irrigated by the energy of an Arcane Energy Pool. This was why such pools had always been an extremely important research resource in the Land of Six Towers.
