A month later, inside a meeting room 10 kilometers from the White Dragon Tower.
Locke manipulated the Illusion School's projection screen with his fingers and said to the three First-Ring Wizards and forty-five Wizard Apprentices, "After everyone's two weeks of hard work, we've finally completed the project proposal."
"At present, we only need to send the materials and project proposal to the competition committee of the Cloud Marsh Cup."
Barbara, Tacitus, and Montgomery all wore smiles.
A month ago, Wizard Montgomery had proposed using a special parasitic Magic Plant, the [Rusty Pearl Flower], that parasitized parasitic Magic Plants to solve the problem of storing Magic Pressure in the Chain Magic Vine.
The original Chain Magic Vine could parasitize the Permanent Defense Field, but could only obtain a brief burst of mana from it. The [Rusty Pearl Flower], however, could solve the problem of storing Magic Pressure.
Even so, they were still far from the tactical Magic Plant they envisioned—a Permanent Defense Field capable of connecting to multiple Wizards on a large scale. But at least they had taken this first step, proving that their research group could continue working on the project.
Montgomery smiled. "I'll personally deliver the project proposal to the White Wizard Association's Hurricane Eye Array Magic Gate today."
"We have Lord Locke to thank. Without the wealth of high-quality preliminary experimental data he provided, we couldn't possibly have written a project proposal within a month that far exceeded the standard expected of Wizards in our Land of Six Towers."
A project proposal was not merely about describing the research topic and funding plan. It also had to provide a certain amount of preliminary experimentation, proving that the entire project plan was not a castle in the air, much less empty boasting.
And Locke had preliminary experimental data
