Inside the Golden Crown Mountain Library, Locke browsed the books in the free-access section while holding Albert's detailed records and comparing them with the information in the classics.
"The inscription array runes for the Permanent Defense Field conflict with mana. This situation also exists in the Cloud Marsh Wetland." Locke's eyes narrowed. "As expected of the Golden Crown Mountain Library in the Cloud Marsh Wetland. Information about the soul that can't be found anywhere in the Southeastern Corner Region can be accessed in the free section here."
"The method of identification is the Magic Pressure Spectrum. Have the wizard drink the spectrum potion, then use a mass spectrometer to map that wizard's Magic Pressure Spectrum over the following hour."
"If the spectrum is continuous, it proves that there is no foreign object in the soul. Albert's condition would then be something else. If the spectrum is interrupted, it means that a foreign object exists in Albert's soul."
Locke's expression shifted slightly. "The spectrum analyzer... I remember there's one at the Healing Hand Clinic in Lilith's Cottage. The equipment is rather old and the version is outdated, but it should be usable in a pinch."
"If it doesn't work, we'll have to borrow the equipment from Verdantia University. If that still doesn't work, we'll have to go to the nearest Wizard Land to borrow one."
There was no helping it. For such advanced equipment, it was already fortunate if any wizard organization in the Southeastern Corner Region possessed one.
Although in Golden Crown Mountain, regardless of the level of the experiment, there would be several of the most advanced spectrum analyzers available.
Locke summoned the Gray Mist Slate and simultaneously used an image connection to contact Albert and Harlan Vela.
He informed Harlan Vela and Albert of the results.
