A fall.
A round Dark Sun had appeared at the very center of the city. Along with it, the entire city was about to enter another dimension.
Lock looked up at that other dimension. It was a world of absolute darkness, and within that darkness, tentacles as enormous as stars seemed to be moving.
An angel descended from the heavens. Once she landed, the sacred golden angel vanished, and Witch Shally stepped out from within it. She glanced at Lock. "Hm? Locke, what are you doing? We need to go."
"This city is about to fall into that strange space."
Lock had been planning to leave as well, but he stood where he was and looked toward the mausoleum of the princess's sleeping chamber, a thoughtful look appearing on his face. "Wait, Senior Sister. There's actually something I've been wondering about."
Witch Shally froze for a moment. "Wondering about? Have you made some new discovery? But there's no time left. The city is already about to fall into that dangerous space. Those two Black Wizards have already summoned the Underworld Ferryman and left."
"If we don't leave now, we may fall into that space along with the city."
Lock looked toward the princess's statue inside the mausoleum, frowning.
If he remembered correctly, this sleeping chamber was located at the very center of the city. It was where the Loom Princess rested eternally, as well as where her Echo was stored.
Lock walked to the very center of the sleeping chamber, where the princess's coffin had been placed. It was a sarcophagus as tall as a person.
Lock placed his palm on the sarcophagus. It was itself a Second-Ring Wizard Artifact. Despite the changes wrought by seventy thousand years of history, it had remained inside this well-preserved tomb chamber all along
