Locke cleaned up the battlefield. He gathered the corpses of the five Blood Curse Court apprentices together, stuffed all the fragments into a sack, and placed it inside the Astral Ring, intending to bring them back as fertilizer for his Magic Field.

The White Wizard Association had a strict Ethical Review Mechanism to prevent Breeders from using Wizard Apprentices as fertilizer for their Magic Fields. But if those people were Black Wizards, it did not matter.
