Locke received a special Magic Plant specification document from Witch Georgina, sent from a Key Laboratory at Boniface University.
He opened the document and took a look. The Key Laboratory was currently researching a new type of textile-engineering fiber.
The specification document contained fifteen criteria related to this fiber, such as fiber length, fineness, and breaking strength. However, this fiber-performance requirements table had little to do with him.
This was actually a task involving the targeted improvement of a Magic Plant variety.
If he wanted to cooperate with them, at most, he would only be responsible for improving the new Magic Plant variety.
But Locke noticed that the document came with an additional file. It was actually a contract for a specially appointed Breeder.
Locke skimmed it and discovered that it was actually a job offer. It stated that they would pay him three million Magic Stones for one year, provide the equipment and related rights he needed for his experiments, and allocate an additional three million Magic Stones specifically for him to improve a new Magic Plant variety.
The contract period was one year.
During that year, he would be a guest researcher at Boniface University.
This was a relatively common form of cooperation between Wizard Universities and individual wizards. Of course, for a Wizard University as large as Boniface University, they generally would not enter into such an agreement with an ordinary First-Ring Wizard.
Usually, they would simply pay the money and require the wizard to complete the task, much like the relationship between a company and its employees.
But Locke was now a Second-Ring Wizard. Although Wizard Universities at the level of Boniface University and Golden Crown Mountain each had more than a thousand Second-Ring Wizards, he had already reached the point where they could invite him
