Ancestor Crisis

When the Jiaolong Ancestor disappeared and contact with him was severed, neighboring clans began coveting the Dark Blood Jiaolong Clan's territory, resources, and True Dragon Bloodline. The Cloud Swallowing Python Clan exploited this weakness by humiliating Ao Jianlie and demanding Ao Mingyue in a coercive marriage alliance. 397 399 402

The crisis ended when Bloodlight Demon Saint returned under the Jiaolong Ancestor's identity, defeated Green Flame Ancestor, and assumed control of the clan. He introduced Lin Fan as an honored fellow Daoist and ordered the clan to treat him with utmost respect. 403 404

War with the Cloud Swallowing Python Clan

The Cloud Swallowing Python Clan captured Ao Jianlie and forced a decisive battle at Wind Empress Mountain Range. The Dark Blood Jiaolong Clan accepted despite knowing that the Water Spirit Snake Clan and Eight-Armed Demon Ape Clan had joined its enemy. 425 428

During the war, Ao Mingyue fought with the Jiaolong Sword and the power of her True Dragon Bloodline, while Ao Jianshen fought Clan Leader Bai. The Water Spirit Snake Clan entered the battle in exchange for the promise of bloodline enhancement from the Python Clan's ancestor. 431 432

The Dark Blood Jiaolong Clan ultimately defeated the Cloud Swallowing Python Clan and Water Spirit Snake Clan, then absorbed both clans' territories. This victory elevated it into Northern Luzhou's dominant power. 436 441

Expansion and Royal-Clan Tensions

The clan continued expanding beyond Northern Luzhou, taking control of significant territory in Dust Spirit Province after the Sky Swallowing Sparrow Clan's destruction. Its rapid growth caused both the Dark Dragon Clan and Black Demon Jiaolong Clan to become wary. 474 492

The Dark Dragon Clan initially sent Ancient Dragon Blood Essence and dragon crystals to strengthen relations, but later reinforced the Black Demon Jiaolong Clan and delayed further promised resources.
