Background

Falling God Peak was founded on the site of its main peak, which later became the center of a sect surrounded by eight principal peaks. Its nine peak lords were all renowned top martial artists who had reached the first rank of the Celestial Being realm. 210 231

A common jianghu account held that the founding patriarch slew a Martial God-level sworn enemy atop the mountain, giving the place its name: the site where a Martial God fell. An elderly Falling God Peak member rejected this as hearsay, claiming that “Falling God” instead referred to Divine-Natured Persons. 190

According to her account, the founding patriarch sought a prophecy from the Heavenly Secrets Pavilion and was told that his sect would one day be destroyed by a Divine-Natured Person. The sect’s later actions against Divine-Natured Persons were tied to this feared fate. 190 191

Main Peak

Falling God Peak’s central mountain was a sheer, thousand-fathom cliff of black, meteorite-iron-like rock, wrapped by twelve bronze chains. Its summit housed Falling God Hall, a red-walled, gold-tiled hall supported by nineteen golden pillars. 238

Falling God Peak secretly pursued Divine-Natured Persons, people rare enough to be described as appearing roughly once in ten thousand and capable of cultivating both martial arts and divine power. 236

The sect’s chief disciple revealed that Falling God Peak’s true objective was to obtain and consume Divine-Natured Blood, rather than simply eradicate Divine-Natured Persons.
