Background / History

Cang Yinyue is the daughter of Marquis Cangyuan. Her family’s influence stems from its ties to Imperial Concubine Ji and the Taiyin Origin Sect, but she regards that power as unrelated to herself. Marquis Cangyuan’s first wife, Zhu Fenglan, abused her and branded the word “lowly” into the bones of her face with the Bone-Eroding Yin Wind Finger. Her mother and eldest brother later died, leaving Yinyue focused on revenge against the household that destroyed her family. 27 63 68

As the Hidden Spy Bureau’s foremost Silver-Pattern Secret Agent, Yinyue identified Li Musheng as the most likely candidate to be Great Li’s missing Seventh Prince. She offered to escort him to Shangyang City to verify his identity and promised his protection regardless of the outcome. 7 8

While traveling with Li Musheng, she became involved in the search for the seven keys to the Heavenly Revelation Secret Treasury.
