Background / History

Li Musheng originated from Blue Star and transmigrated into his current body when it was five years old. The body’s original owner had poor aptitude, chronic illness, and died from a severe cold. Yu Zhentian took Li Musheng in at the Yu Family Martial Arts School, where he survived by performing menial work. 6

Although his innate aptitude remained poor, Li Musheng possessed heaven-defying martial comprehension: he never forgot what he saw and could master the school’s techniques after seeing them once. Within days, he had learned every martial art available at the school, then spent fifteen years cultivating in seclusion and creating stronger techniques from his own insights. 6

He concealed this strength behind a lazy, unremarkable apprentice persona until the Scum River Seven Bandits threatened the Yu Family Martial Arts School. Li Musheng sealed the bandits’ acupoints, exposed Yu Xian as the disguised Bandit Chief Zha, and repaid the Yu family’s kindness before leaving Shun'an City to seek the legendary realm of Transcendence. 4 5 6

His journey brought him into partnership with Cang Yinyue and into the struggle for the seven keys of the Heavenly Revelation Secret Treasury.
