• Li Musheng ordered the Heavenly Brocade Guard to prioritize finding the Fire Qilin, then joined Cang Yinyue to investigate Great Qi remnants in Lock Dragon Well Ward.
• Cang Yinyue and Li Musheng followed A Bin through underground waterways, where Li Musheng defeated the Azure Dragon Elder and acquired the Dragon Pearl and Azure Dragon Firmament Scripture.

Li Musheng’s journey toward Falling God Peak brought him into conflict with the All-Under-Heaven Alliance and exposed a poison plot at Deer-Slaying Villa. The group found an antidote, but Hu Ruian collapsed while visiting Ruan Zhenhui, leaving her to search for a cure as Shen Anran watched.

• Li Musheng admitted to Guan Tianqian that he had killed the people in Marquis Cangyuan Mansion and Imperial Concubine Ji, and Guan Tianqian chose to stop investigating.
• Li Zhu attacked Li Musheng and died after Cang Yinyue wounded him and Li Musheng used the Life-Death Seal, while Fu Qiwen arranged to conceal the death and departed for Lanzhou.
• Li Que and Ji Song pursued Li Musheng over Li Zhu’s death, while Youshan linked the Eighth Prince and Cang Yinyue to Imperial Concubine Ji’s murder.
• On the road to Lanzhou, Li Musheng’s group helped Shangguan Qingqing and Qin Hao defeat attackers seeking a jade pendant, which revealed a map of Falling God Peak.
• At Giant Deer River, Hu Ruian sent the party across the destroyed crossing and accepted an invitation to Deer-Slaying Villa’s matchmaking banquet.
• At Deer-Slaying Villa, Li Musheng discovered the banquet wine carried Drunken Immortal Death poison, immobilized Jing Chenglu and the others, and forced the steward to reveal Shen Liancheng’s secret alliances.
• Li Musheng found the antidote and treated Cao Gaoshan, Wu Shang, Cheng Zhong, and Murong Xiaoya, then went to look for Hu Ruian.
• Hu Ruian collapsed from Drunken Immortal Death in Ruan Zhenhui’s room, and she hid him before leaving to seek the antidote as Shen Anran secretly emerged nearby.

Li Musheng and Hu Ruian reached Sheng Province, where they became entangled in a feud between the Murong Family and rival clans, as well as a haunting and the massacre of the provincial yamen. The Murong Family prepared for battle while Mei Yanyu investigated the deaths and suspected Li Musheng’s party.

• Li Musheng exposed Shen Liancheng’s plot, defeated Shen Juesheng with one punch, and left Deer-Slaying Villa with Hu Ruian and their companions.
• Murong Xiaoya joined the group, and Li Musheng killed Baili Yu, Baili Xue, Lu Baiming, and Tu Shan when they attacked her party.
• At Murong Estate, Hu Ruian investigated the deserted Heavenly Brocade Guard branch and encountered a ghostly presence that threatened to kill him.
• Li Musheng agreed to accompany Hu Ruian, Wu Shang, and Cheng Zhong back to the haunted branch, while Shen Anran practiced the saber corrections he had given her.
• Murong Hong showed Hu Ruian evidence that Zhu Ziming had exposed the guards’ deployment, but Baili Changfeng marched against the Murong Estate, forcing Li Musheng’s group to leave.
• Li Musheng killed Baili Changfeng and four Shadow Crows after Changfeng attacked their carriage, while the rival clans surrounded Murong Estate.
• Hu Ruian’s party found 176 dead officials and runners in the provincial yamen, and Mei Yanyu identified the killers’ sword art as the Murong Family’s Azure Dragon Thousand Swords.
• Murong Hong agreed to let the Murong ancestors act and prepared to fight the four clans, as Han Chuiyuan ordered the clans to attack and Mei Yanyu learned that Li Musheng’s party had survived the haunting.

Murong Xiaoya awakened the Vermilion Bird Bone and slaughtered the families responsible for the Murong Family's destruction, while Li Musheng uncovered Falling God Peak's purge of people with divine nature and forced the Sheng Province Heavenly Brocade Guard to move toward Lanzhou. The stretch ended with Li Musheng exposing Old Man Wuxiang after he controlled Shen Anran, Wu Shang, and Cheng Zhong.

• After the Murong Family's estate was destroyed, Murong Fu revealed the family's ties to the Vermilion Bird Tomb, and Murong Xiaoya awakened its bone, killed him, and absorbed her elder brother's cultivation.
• Murong Xiaoya killed the Four Great Families' members and Mei Yanyu's allies, then learned from Mei Yanyu that the Mei family was secretly allied with Falling God Peak.
• Li Musheng's group investigated the ghostly appearances at the Heavenly Brocade Guard branch and found a list of communities the Guard had exterminated while seeking people with divine nature.
• An old woman accused Falling God Peak and the Mei family of orchestrating the killings, but she died before Li Musheng could verify her claims.
• Li Musheng and Hu Ruian confronted the Mei family, compelled Mei Yan to order the Sheng Province Heavenly Brocade Guard to Lanzhou, and dealt with Mei Yan and Mu Qingxia.
• Murong Xiaoya killed Han Chuiyuan and set out for the Han Residence as Li Musheng's group recognized the scale of her new power.
• Cheng Zhong and Wu Shang attacked Hu Ruian and Shen Anran, but Li Musheng caught Shen Anran's hidden controller, Old Man Wuxiang, and identified his Formless Puppet Technique.
