"It really is strange—too strange."
The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas within the Western Spirit Mountain had just heard Maitreya Buddha's words.
They all froze in bewilderment.
That was right!
Great King Yellow Wind had already been locked in a stalemate with Bodhisattva Lingji until now. Anyone with eyes could see that he was showing signs of defeat.
Why, then, had Venerable Kashyapa, a Quasi-Saint and the executor of the Buddhist sect's Journey to the West plan, still not made a move despite the situation reaching this point?

As a Quasi-Saint, Venerable Kashyapa naturally could not fail to see that if Bodhisattva Lingji continued dragging things out, he risked defeat.
Yet even in this situation, Venerable Kashyapa still chose not to intervene.
Although this would inevitably cause the Buddhist sect to lose face among the cultivators of the Primordial World, Venerable Kashyapa did not care.
What Venerable Kashyapa cared about was that Maitreya Buddha had now washed his hands of the entire Journey to the West plan and handed
